Take a flyer on DLeague guys. Give GP2 a shot. I'm sure there are others. Maybe keep MWP but I see no need for Huertas/trob at this point. Also, are we just cutting calderon? _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals |

Are there any teams wanting to dump a 2 year contract that would attach a 2nd for Calderon at this point? |

Give Nwaba a shot over Vander. Anyone can hit shots in the D-League, Anthony Brown anyone? Nwaba might have a skill set we could actually use _________________ Austin Reaves

if we were in proper tank mode we could have ran some lineups that could have showcased what little Calderon had in the tank for a deadline trade _________________ (bleep) Kawhi |

Buyout would likely come for Calderon after the deadline, I would hope. _________________ "He's a Zen master, so he can speak to you, and he doesn't need a microphone; you can hear him in your head, 'Ron, don't shoot, don't shoot.' Whatever, pow, three. I love the Zen, though." |

I like what TRob brings to the table as 3rd stringer, but I agree about the other two. |

yeah, I agree TRob has some value compared to Metta and Marcelo...and maybe we even bring back TRob if we are just looking for a 14th or 15th guy as insurance and he cant find another team. He is still only 25 or 26, and can grab boards all day long. |

I haven't scouted the DLeague enough but GP2 has to offer more than Huertas right now. Take a flyer. |
Then he likely never plays like Huerta, or he eats into that 96 minutes. _________________ RIP mom. 11-21-1933 to 6-14-2023. |

I don't know a lot about Nwaba. What position does he play? Isn't he supposed to be a good defender? _________________ RIP mom. 11-21-1933 to 6-14-2023. |

I think veteran leadership is really a Concept most people on LG don't understand and the importance of it for a young team |

LAKERS REPORTEDLY INTERESTED IN METTA WORLD PEACE BECOMING ASSISTANT COACH
LINK
Quote: | World Peace, previously known as Ron Artest and The Panda's Friend, might not be ready to commit to retirement, though. Sources told ESPN.com he's expected to seek other options to keep playing if the Lakers let him go before Monday's roster deadline.
In August, he told ESPN.com's Ian Begley he's still confident in his playing ability. The 2004 Defensive Player of the Year explained his lackluster numbers with Los Angeles last season were merely due to a lack of playing time.
"So if I don't play, like this year on the Lakers I could have averaged 15 or 20 on the Lakers if I played, easily," World Peace said. "But you know, I'll be supportive [if I don't play]. But the only thing that gets me frustrated with the whole basketball is people think I can't play anymore." |

Huertas is a 2nd year NBA player. We have the expensive Moz/Deng veteran leadership group, along with MWP, Calderon, and even Swaggy.
I hope we make a few moves to declutter the roster. I would use 2 spots to take flyers on guys in the DLeague. The 76ers have benefitted from making opportunistic signings (long term minimum deals) and we should too. _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals |

I'm cool with that. I think 1 of Huertas/Calderon may be moved/waived, likely Calderon being waived so he can join a playoff team. That'll open up at least 1 spot for us to look in the DLeague. _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals |
