Lamar and Cook screwed up but we're not in that situation if the PGs could defend without fouling...

Neither, Sasha, nor Smush, seem to know how to move their feet, on defense... Both these players are "matadors", on defense... We seem to cater to the type of defender that has quicker hands, than feet... We always have the defenders that can steal the ball, but very rarely, do we get the defender that is an expert at establishing position, and drawing the foul.

Many things can be pointed out, after the fact... I think Kobe is fully committed to taking that last shot... However, we had Cook, and I forget who else, I think it was George, clustered under the basket, like two rabbits hiding in their hutch.... I just wonder, what might have happened, if they had come out, into that cleared out area, for a fast dish off... I wonder if Cookie could have drilled it home??

Mitchell signed the great Aron Mckie to be our PG.

LOL

You and I think alike my friend.

What was that? I called him out at the time on it, the odds of an old and broken down McKie rebounding this year with some miracle season were about as long as Kupchak winning GM of the Year award.

Yep.

I didn't like the trade for Kwame, and said so - but I told myself "I'll give
him a year to judge him first" - and then went, dug his stats up, prorated
them to 35mpg and tried to make a case that he MIGHT be ok, and that
I MIGHT be wrong that it was a bad move.

Then we got McKie. I didn't like that either. I told myself, "I'll just prorate
his stats to 30mpg or so and make a case for him too."

Ummm, bottom line?

Couldn't even do it.

They were too terrible
