I would like to see Z run with first unit. Black is better as an energy guy off the bench.

Yeah. I think that is a better role for him.

We are not winning anything important this year, so yeah...give Zu a lot of burn so he gets the learning experience.
I don't really care if he gets killed by Pau or some other experienced Center. So what? we lose by 20 instead of only 12?
there's no harm in that, so let him play big minutes for the experience

I am a huge Zubac fan but I don't really think he's ready yet. There are times where he's in over his head and gets completely dominated. I think big time minutes off the bench is what he needs and that's fine for his development.

He needs an offseason of NBA training like Ingram does.

Of course he isnt ready yet. Neither is Ingram but should be starting getting 28+ minutes in preparation for next season

I don't care if he starts or not, but give him 28 to 32 minutes every game. I also think Luke should try running the offense through Zubac. Dump it in the middle and see what happens. Right now, we're just passing around the perimeter or going iso.

That's a good point. I'm not against it. I'm just also fine with what he's getting.

More important then whether Zu starts or not, it's who he's playing with.

Dlo, Ingram, Nance, Zu and 1 of (Ennis, Brewer, Young)

Zu ends up giving up baskets to his guy because he's eager to help on D. Playing him with Randle or JC is asking for 2 things:
1. Zu won't get the ball much, because those 2 don't move the ball and don't execute the offense
2. Randle & JC won't play D, or switch when they shouldn't, and Zu gets eaten up

it's really time to start playing the guys that give effort all the time, not just some of the time, and who execute the offense

Yeah, Zu can use the defensive experience of starting...
but starting him with the right group of players also builds on the offensive side

Yea but Tarik is good off the bench. Starting him maximizes the tank.

He's a 19 year old center of the future that's still raw in many ways but skilled and driven. Magic wants more minutes, but Luke knows best what the threshold is and what unit he should run with. I'd like to see him in condition to start and run at least 26mpg next year, whatever gets you there.

I give it until the 2nd week of the season next year if we have some new draft guys....LG will turn on him for every missed shot or turnover. Ingram even gets a little criticism now that Zubac is the new favorite future star.

I don't think it matters as long as he is getting PT, which he is.

Start Zubac and put Black back in to the second-unit, he plays well with Nance Jr anyway.

Without Lou if Clarkson don't start to look for others I don't think we have guards to make better use of Zubac skills. That is just not Dlo game and Nick Young was never a creator for others.
