Have to revisit this topic after he went into the Mr. Floor garbage when Davis got hurt.

Get lost, Stu.

Speaks truth.
The floor's never lost

And Stu knows. He's told us about breaking his wrist due to a fall before right? Or was that someone else?

Stu's canned responses are on autopilot. You can't blame him. He has been calling it that way for decades now. Its just time to accept it. Bill works well with him, and occasionally gets him to say something original. We've still got a few years with him

I love Stu but honestly I am surprised he didn't retire when Kobe did. He's really showing less and less knowledge about the players and their tendencies and has relied more and more on his own catch phrases, so to speak. I'm fine with him because he's still a solid announcer, but he's definitely lost a beat over the past 3 or 4 years.

Brother in law and myself cant stand him anymore. Always the same commentary at the worst times. "Shorten your dribble" Shut up! Cant believe the original commentator missed it. And Bill is horrible too because he always sounds like a whining baby when the Lakers lead gets down to single digits. Always raises his pitch like a kid throwing a tantrum. To think we had some better ones since Chick passed on.

Def the most garbage stuff I ever heard from a commentator. Wish that fall broken his voice and he would never utter such drivel again.

You and your Brother In Law need to drop to the level of the ball.

On the Lakers Basketball Network....

I really don't hate Stu. But that's probably because I only started watching Lakers streams 10 years ago or so

The other teams commentators are worst, believe me. It's impossible to watch some teams' transmissions.

Been watching since before Stu was around and Keith Erickson was Chick's sidekick. Stu was definitely better back in the day next to Chick, but even as a grumpy old man, he's fine.

Well see Lanny that's the difference between a rebounder, and someone who gets rebounds.

Stu Lantz is a treasure and a great teacher if you listen closely. He doesn't yak too much and sets a relaxing tone with his announcing. I was raised on Chick and Stu not having him on the broadcast would be a crime.

I liked Stu with Chick. He wasn't as repetitive and grumpy, and had to pick his spots to get a word in. What we are being subjected to now is a completely untethered, unhinged, free-range Stu.
