No kidding JC should be around 20s in PT. More to Nwaba or Ennis

Go figure. damned if you do, damned if you don't.

no people wanted him to put his hand up and contest the shot, he just stood there.
no we didn't

sorry Dao, I meant the people complaining about his defense.

God, James is so out of it. He thinks AD and Cousins will work.

Man, DLO was brutal tonight...if he hits some of those shots and makes some better decisions with his passing, we probably win. JC was bad as was JR, we just don't have enough guys who make smart decisions.

I thought BI looked good though, so that's encouraging.

Bottom line with this team, even if they grow up together and improve...there isn't a solid clutch decision making leader among them. DLO isn't the guy. He's good for his age, but his shot needs to be ALOT better if he's going to play the style he's playing.

This was really the season DLO needed to take a step forward, he hasn't. He's going to be an average NBA player, which is fine...but a let down for a #2 pick.

Our FO needs to pick 2 young guys they like the best and just build around them and trade the rest for an all star. I vote BI and Zubac...ship JR and DLO out for PG13 with an extension and let's start moving forward. We aren't "rebuilding" if no one is improving...

AD and Cousins could work. If they get Chris Paul this off-season.

Sorry. His lazy ass is so frustrating.

even more so when he started the year and was talking about how Luke saw him as having an impact like Draymond, he seemed like he was going to be so much better on defense, then this

you're aware that the reason Jrue opted for a long three instead of trying to beat him off the dribble is because of what Julius can do to guards on switches that try to beat him off the dribble right?

There were 2.5 seconds left on the shot clock. He stood there with 3-4 feet of separation and barely raised his arm. F that noise.

I can live with him having to take a long three pointer and live with the results. There's been much worse defensive effort from guys tonight you could be [expletive]ing about right now. When BI gets lost on defensive rotations or JC gets caught in no mans land or 5 feet away from his man who has a wide open three I don't see you saying jack squat. But Jrue has to take a long three over Jules and it's just too much to bear

yeah, of course.

This is not about getting lost on a play. This is just effort. Does it make you happy when Randle just stands there and watches Jrue jack up a wide open 3? Thats how okafor defends.

Randle with the momentum-killing bricked free throw, followed by his patented lockdown defense on Jrue Holiday. Tank MVP.

No, I just don't watch the entire game and see Randle actually playing well in terms of hustling, and actually being engaged and then wait for a moment where I could cite he wasn't 'enough' to piss and moan about for half an hour as if that's all he brought to the game.

If I wanted to piss and moan about that play where Jrue had to take a long three. Then I could complain about Nance, Ingram, Russell, Clarkson, and Nick on the defensive end tonight who had many more questionable plays and in the case of Clarkson many worse 'leaving man open' plays than Randle ever mustered tonight. The majority of the time Randle had a hand in someone's face or fouled because he was trying to stop a play which is why he had 5.

I'm not gonna watch the entire game and then microanalyze a play where Jrue had to take a long 3 instead of trying to drive it on Randle. I'm not that obsessed with trying to tear Randle down nor act like he wasn't hustling the majority of the game. Not my MO.

You keep acting like its one play. What the hell are you watching? He doesn't box out/close out/contest regularly on top of always being lost on defense.

he obviously doesn't box out/hustle enough, only ripped down 12 rebounds, he obviously doesn't have basketball IQ, he only had 6 assists with 2 TO.

yeah I actually watched the game. A lot of this "Randle doesn't hustle enough" crap has been the typical hyperbole since the all-star break.

If you want to talk about being lost on defense, Russell, Ingram and Clarkson got lost on defense more than Randle did today.

Hard to blame him for not caring. We've been losing at a horrid pace for four years, and the best thing that could come from this season, like the previous three seasons, is our pick which is again at risk.

I thought it was a patting yourself on the back reference but it doesn't really make sense to me
