My favorite Pelinka movie was The Outsiders. He kicked ass at the rumble. _________________ GOAT MAGIC REEL

Youngblood would be my dark horse pick. I also liked him as Mike Myers's adversary in Wayne's World. |

Goodness gracious... That was QUICK! |
I mean, how should he have architected that sentence? |
Doesn't matter. He had his chance and he blew it. Time to give someone else a shot at leading the Lakers back to glory |
Save it for the Rob Lowe P&M thread. |

I caught Zach Lowe's pod with Bob Myers. Myers says its going to be a shock when he first steps into that GM chair. It's going to take a while for him to figure out what to do and how he wants to operate. And Myers had more FO experience and people around him with GM experience than Pelinka will have.
From what everyone has been saying about him, Rob will likely be up to the task. Just expect some growing pains at the beginning. I hope he can bring in someone like the former asst GM of the Sixers (who is available), or poach someone from an established FO like the Thunder's to help him make the adjustment.

if he lands Paul George we'll have to give him the "Big Shot Rob" moniker Rob Horry currently has |

I think this is another situation of someone not respecting Pelinka as a NBA guru, when all evidence shows he's been working with GMs so he has tons of experience. |

No, Bob Myers (not Pete- typo) is the GM of Warriors, made the same transition as Rob, and his speaking from personal experience. He is also Rob's ex colleague and will be giving him advice when the time comes. |
