Well, now we have him, and he's not going to take any sh*t. You want him negotiating the deals not some pushover. You saw he bottom lined Lue then moved on. He's setting a precedent. I like it and i'm ready to give him a chance running basketball operations.

It's comical isn't it?

No no... we don't want a smart GM who is capable of negotiating "steals" from other teams and agents.

We want a nice guy who is friends with everyone, because we are scared that other GMs will go out of their way to hurt their own teams by not even taking a call from the Lakers? And HE is supposed to be the bad GM?

Exactly!

If Rob manages another "Pau Gasol" - ish type trade again that takes us deep into the playoffs and potentially championship contention...
Then we all know who the culprit is...

Man, if he can manage to get us AD for a bag of chips like Pau Gasol for *Stephen A Voice* Kwammmmay Brown, then he deserves a damn statue...

Sure, if he can do it, then he should get props. This offseason is obviously the perfect opportunity for it. For now, Mitch has the Pau Gasol steal under his resume even though he's apparently a pushover. And Pelinka has an official tampering charge under his before Paul George was traded (obviously if you're going to do it, don't get caught). It's redemption time for Rob.

The Lakers have been a dumpster fire since Johnson stepped down. Every decision-- from installing Pelinka to settling on their third choice as a head coach -- has been unpopular. Worse, there's been no one from the organization willing to explain anything in the public spotlight.

Damn Ramona. Don't hold back. Tell us how you really feel.

Yep.
I usually go for a cheeseburger, extra lettuce, raw chopped and grilled onions. Fries. And when I'm feeling it, strawberry shake.

If I dont get extra, by the time I'm at my last 2-3 bites, the lettuce is gone.

Ramona said on Mason and Ireland not long ago that she’s been closed out on Lakers insider stuff as the organization shut out all reporters.

Perhaps this article was a little warning shot to her old friend Jeanie to open the lines of communication again.

Momo's in tears.
She's like: "You ditched me for Linda."
You should read what Momo wrote about Jeannie in her Burn Book.

Magic has his own issues and he clearly needed to be gone from the team. But, Pelinka better be good if they're going to keep him even after all that Magic has said about him.

It's definitely a big worry that Jeanie is just keeping Pelinka around because of familiarity. We have to remember that Jeanie didn't actually let go Magic. He resigned. If it weren't for him quitting, Magic may still be on the team.

Everything we've seen and heard so far says Jeanie is a bad owner who lets personal relationships dictate who's in the front office.
