West Virginia completely botched the last 2 minutes

Yes, but Gonzaga had a lot to do with that.

West Virginia had 3 star guys playing against 4 and 5 star guys. Their effort defensively (full court press the entire game) was admirable and I commend their effort.

With better execution in the last minutes, they could have and maybe should have won.

Have a feeling Kansas will blow this game wide open about half way through 2nd half.

This is the type of game that Gonzaga would usually lose in the tournament. They actually pulled this one out, and I wonder if they've turned the corner and if this could be the year.

Oh, and that replay review on a blatantly easy play to call took longer than the O.J. trial.

I think next year will be the first year they dont win the Big12...they lose almost everyone...Mykhailiuk and Vick will be about all that returns. They only have one 5 star coming in next season....Billy Preston. Several Big 12 teams will bring back almost everything...WVU only loses 1 starter and 4 guys in total from their 10 man rotation.

maybe...but I think this is probably the most talented Gonzaga squad...and the deepest....probably the deepest team WVU has played, and they was the biggest factor for them being able to win.

Vegas is so dang good....they had Michigan as 1 point favorite, so they missed by 2 points.....they nailed the WVU/Gonzaga game with Gonzaga being 3 point favorites.

It's not about getting it right, it's about getting even money on both sides of the bet. Crucial difference. If even money meant Michigan -7, they'd have used that as the line.

I remember watching the opening minutes of the game vs Northwestern and thinking these guys are a bunch of damn ringers......this ain't your daddy's Gonzaga squad.

The Blueitt/Trier battle is pretty awesome. I wonder if Arizona can pull it out without any contribution from their other guards.

Edit: and Kadeem Allen hits a big 3...
