How many people had South Carolina in their Final Four brackets?

not me, but I began adopting them in the Sweet 16....I am pulling for them to pull this thing off.

Probably no one outside of actually going to that school.

If anyone claims they did, it was based off team colors or logo

South Carolina out of nowhere as a 7 seed to the Final Four.

Very impressive, they really D up, I admire how hard they play.

Good timely timeout to stop the Kentucky run dead in its tracks.....North Carolina with a 10-0 run after Kentucky up 5.

Gonzaga has had an absolute dream draw. I'm not saying that South Carolina couldn't beat them, because I believe that they can. But the fact remains that the Zags have an opportunity to reach the championship game without having to face anything better than a 4 seed.

Rooting for a matchup between the truck stop conference and the conference of champions.

Zags in national championship game. Too balanced and too deep for Southern Carolina.

It really might be their year. They were struggling late against Northwestern and the refs failed to detect the obvious goaltending call. That was the type of game that had tripped them up in the past. They got to play an 11 seed to get to the Final 4. They get a 7 seed in the Final 4. They get up 14 and see the other team go on a 16-0 run to take the lead, and nothing they were doing was going right. Their dude takes a 3-pointer that is way off, and it luckily pins perfectly against the backboard and rolls in. They never trailed again after that.

It could be their time. It feels like it to me.

Personally, I feel like Gonzaga is a good matchup for UNC. UNC has a lot of high caliber athletes to counter Gonzaga's size, something where I think Oregon would struggle.

Meeks is just killing the Ducks in this game. Bell has to be compromised by that ankle injury from the first half, methinks.

Oregon's been pretty crappy tonight. In the first half they had a bunch of dumb turnovers, and in the 2nd half they can't buy a 3-pointer, and they just flubbed what should have been a gimme alley-oop that would've brought them to within 3.

Same dude on Oregon FAILS to box out TWICE in a row and they don't even get a chance to win it. Pathetic.

Why not sub in a big body to secure the board? piss-poor coaching and fundamentals

Oregon couldn't score, couldn't box out....North Carolina tried their best to give the game away and Oregon played very sloppy.

not a UNC fan...but if they win, they will celebrate and many people will forget who won by the time the season starts next season. On the other hand, all the "hipster bball fans" or basketball talking heads that are always trying to prove they are "in the know" love Gonzaga.....and they will never shut up if Gonzaga wins.

I especially don't believe what I saw on that first missed rebound. Bell didn't even attempt to box out. It was like his brain just froze from the gravity of the situation...and then he allows it again!

Unreal. At worst, you figure you're going to get to inbound the ball down by 3 and have a chance to tie it. They didn't even get a shot at the basket. It would be like a baseball team making a big comeback in the 9th inning, you get the tying run to 3rd base with 2 outs and your best hitter coming up, and the runner at 3rd gets picked off and doesn't even allow the hitter to swing the bat.
