there will be chants in those two games, I promise
SEC-SEC-SEC
They are ready to make sure everyone knows they have more teams advancing than the other big conferences.....I actually think its funny...they take a lot of basketball abuse |

So I'm tied for the top of the leaderboard somehow, didn't think I'd be anywhere close after Nova got eliminated |

Late post, but Nigel Hayes should've intentionally missed that 2nd free throw. 4 seconds left - 3 pointer is being hoisted up anyway so making that 2nd does nothing for Wisconsin. Missing it and the ensuing scramble for the rebound would've wasted enough time to the point that Florida would've needed a miracle heave to win. |

Went back and forth between Duke and Gonzaga in the Championship, at the last minute went with Duke. Going to be kicking myself if that's what happens. _________________ "Dread it, run from it... destiny arrives all the same." |

I mean if it's Zags vs Ducks.
I have Duke vs Oregon in the bracket. Should have left it how I had it originally _________________ "Dread it, run from it... destiny arrives all the same." |

I can't remember having a worse bracket than this one LOL.
The Wisconsin loss also ended my chances of possibly winning my annual pool. And bonkers was right...that 2nd free throw was meaningless, because the shot that Florida was going to take was going to be worth 3 points anyway. So the play was to miss the free throw. Of course, the game really swung after Barry's 2 made FT's and then his block on what should've been a breakaway dunk. Wisconsin really controlled the OT but missed too many FT's, yet still would've went back up by 4 if the dude had dunked it on that breakaway play. Barry essentially kept them in it, and then that set the stage for the dagger at the buzzer. It was a super-exciting finish, I'll say that.
Interesting to me that Alford decided to stay at UCLA. This was probably his one chance to take the Indiana job, because the timing was perfect, with his son done with his college career and the job being open. I suppose some stability is good for UCLA. |
