He's on the radio talking about how he has 3rd stage colon cancer.

Best wishes from all Lakers fans. Vic is family.

Sad to hear this.
Come on Vic. Fight it and beat it.

Have so many memories of hearing Vic and MT.

Especially in the pre-social media era where the radio was a bigger source for information, rumors etc.

Can't stand his shtick, but wish him a long time continuing to do it after a full recovery.

To borrow his favorite phrase, may you be the bamboo that bends but never breaks. From the first time I showed up at KIIS for an internship and to all the countless remotes, he's always been so gracious with his time and sagely advice. Get well soon, Vic.

Oh yeah, those were the days, listening to Vic, MT and Hartman at work on the radio. Come on Vic, beat that cancer into remission.

I've heard that too, that he's a really nice man. He's obviously eccentric, but it's who he is. I always liked his passion for what he did. (It's the same reason I like Dick Vitale, even though I recognize the reason that some people might not.) If you're a nice person and you're genuine, that goes a long way with me.

I have a lot of memories of listening to him on the radio when the sports talk boom was happening in the 90's. Feelin' you, King Flava!

He's absolutely a great guy, fun to hang out with and talk to. This is now my second friend dealing with colon cancer, the other being Jeff Zilgitt. (I'm not revealing any secrets here about Jeff -- he's come out publicly about it.)
