This is a good read. this is a good foundation of building relationships with other Organizations.

It's good to see the FO getting a lot of respect... this is how you start making trades without getting screwed.

Of course Daryl Morey is giving them respect. Pelinka has a good relationship with him and rockets organization through harden - I mean look at who we traded with at trade deadline.

Lol, so it makes you mad that another GM is showing the Lakers FO a lot of love?

Morey getting ready to trade DLO for a 2018 first round pick + another Corey Brewer or will it be Ryan Anderson for DLO?

That's how you build relationships with other GMs, and lastly what does trading with the Rockets have anything to do with our GM? Did you say the same thing when we were trading with the Charlotte Bobcats?

Reading the last paragraph gives me chills, Morey suggesting that the Lakers will have a advantage with superstars and in FA.

Pelinka was Harden's agent, Harden is on the Rockets, the Rockets GM is Morey.
Pelinka and Morey are quite familiar.

I know, it's just that I think this is a sign that we are getting respect from GMs and the NBA.... reading the last quote in the article really gives me hope.

Morey is basically thanking us for LouWill... We can thank him taking LouWill off our hands so our young guys can grow. We can also thank him for our #27th or 28th sleeper pick in 3 or 4 years...

Morey was also extremely complimentary of and respectful towards Kupchak.

Read the article, Morey wanted Lou when Mitch was the GM, but didn't have the flexibility to get him, I mean this isn't a article about Pelinka, he's also praising Magic who he has no connections with

I mean he did work trades for years with other teams, so that's likely.

Take anything your opponent says with a grain of salt. It's politics as usual.
Morey is just talking nice for now but he will stab anyone in the back to get what he wants. He's no better than Cuban, Ainge or any other opponent.
Total snow & fluff.

This. Money didn't think he could get a Lou Will for their low pick.

Yeah that's possible, I bet if what you saying is true, Morey must be feeling a little awkward that Pelinka might heeve Harden or Gordon to join the Lakers at some point... now that's not someone being fluff.. that's reality.

If getting Lou Williams was a big thing for him, then he must be happy with how Lou is playing.

I bet no one in there mind would say hey let's talk about Pelinka and Magic.. we got Lou Williams.

Agents work for players, not the other way around. Player says jump, agent says "How high?"

Just saying that, Pelinka being a former client of Harden might help the chances of getting him.... even if slight.

If you knew Morey then you'd know he's not worried about a 9 game stretch. He is thrilled to get Lou Will and he's thrilled to have Harden on an extension which Pelinka facilitated.
