Two new car shows for this year. Talk about the episodes and which do you prefer?

Episode 1. Gosh that was cringeworthy. Leblanc I could stomach but Chris Evans has to be up there on my list of people who I want to punch in the face. I don't know if it's the voice, mannerisms, the black-rimmed glasses or all the above but replace that man with Needell or Harris. They're trying to hard to make the show as entertaining as it used to be but they've fallen flat on their faces.

Tough to beat that Brit combination of acerbic humor and charm. I personally don't mind either of the new Top Gear hosts but those are some monster sized shoes to fill. Been a fan for the last decade and used to scour Youtube and torrents for any content I could get of the OG Top Gear I could get my hands on. Can't abandon those boys after the Hamster damn near gave his life to entertain us.

I have not watched Top Gear since the original hosts left.
I have no idea who the hell is hosting now and I don't care.

I bought Amazon Prime just so I can watch Grand Tour as soon as I heard that Amazon picked them up. I haven't watched the new Top Gear yet but I suppose I will give it a chance. I like Matt Leblanc so I have some hope.

Of the three original hosts, I enjoy James the most. Seems like the kind of guy you'd want to have an endless conversation with in a bar until he's bloody drunk.

Top Gear is finished. I know Matt Leblanc knows a big about cars but I don't think he will be able to save Top Gear. It might eventually go the way of 5th Gear.I'm not sure how the Grand Tour is gonna fare considering its gonna be on Amazon. I would think it would fare better if it had been on Netflix.

Best episode thus far, Chris Harris and the Ferrari tdf, Ken Block drifting the Hoonicorn in London, and finally the Focus RS! Some cringeworthy moment with Evans and LeBlanc, but other than that awesome!! Worth the watch.

It's here, and it's awesome!

The Grand Tour

Jezza: (on the Mclaren P1) Mine does 34 mpg.
Hamster: (on the 918) This does 94.
J: 94 mpg?!
H: 94 mpg.
J: Just remind me, Porsche's owned by...?
H: That'll be VW.

Best episode of the new Top Gear Season. I think it's the first ever review of the new Bugatti Chiron.

Finally got to watching it. That intro was glorious! I was grinning from ear to ear.
