>check exploding sewer schedule app...ah, splendid, the manhole cover across the street is due to fly off in less than 6 minutes
>go to stand on it and wait for it to carry me to my destination
>excited because I'll still have time for lunch
>arrive at mall, see woman whose life I accidentally saved last week
>she hates me now and starts cussing me out, I feel great shame
>step onto escalator...thirsty for the sweet relief of the abyss
>escalator starts creaking
> this is it... take me now, glorious China
>nothing happens; everyone survives
>a cruel joke
>China will grow larger

| that kind of reminds me of the scene in the simpsons where bart dies and is on the escalator to heaven and than he decides to spit in the pacific ocean and the escalator reverses to hell... LOL |
