The rich gets richer! They need the money to pay off the $136M owed to Moz and Deng who are bench warmers.

Worth it. You caught one of the rare entertaining games there. Like witnessing a bald eagle in full flight.

I'm not too upset about it-- it was a fun game, got to see LeBron, Kyrie, Deron Williams, and Kevin Love while watching D'Angelo Russell score his career high. But imagine if I'd gone to the San Antonio blowout game a month before (I almost did) instead or if LeBron/Kyrie/Love had decided to sit out like they did the night before against the Clippers.

As long as people are willing to pay to see a losing product, ticket prices will remain the same or even go up. I think a lot of it is that Lakers games are just a place to be seen for some people and they don't really care about the actual game itself.

If people can afford $3,000+ a month for tiny "luxury" apartments in DTLA, I guess they can afford anything.

Ouch.

At least you got to see the starters play....imagine the Clippers fans who paid good money to see Lebron, Kyrie and Love sit on the bench....

I can't even imaging paying that much to watch a basketball game. Even if someone else paid for the seats and it didn't cost me a penny personally, spending that much to watch people play basketball would offend my values.

What a joke. Team's payroll has gone up but the output hasn't improved. We shouldn't have to pay even more for their mistakes.

I see that almost every day. I need another analogy please!

I would imagine the prices are going up because the product can't be worst than the last 2-3 years can it?

It could. But that has nothing to do with prices. They are capitalizing on the change. Something new, with a well known name, is more exciting than the old paradigm.

I agree with you actually. It's cool once or twice, but that's about it.

I refuse to pay to watch them play historically bad basketball

If we ever make the playoffs again I might change my mind

I would think it has something to do with season ticket reservations, but who knows. Anyways I recently got on the waiting list for season tickets, so if it is too expensive, by all means, please back out.

You are thinking the wrong way, supporting a team means paying more in bad times...

Really shocked to see my tickets increased 11%. The biggest increase in years. Which is ridiculous considering how awful the team is once again.
