Weird. I haven't seen my renewal request yet. I guess I am kinda in the nosebleeds so maybe they haven't gotten around to it.

Nosebleeds went up. $34 tickets off center are now $37. Ridiculous.

Market value for these are in the teens to low 20s now and were I the mid 30s to 40s early season.

Do they have a time machine that they're going to put Magic in and take him back to 1987 mode? I'd pay to watch that.

Raising prices after years of sucking is the very definition of chutzpah. No matter where we wind up in the lottery we'll be drafting another glorified high school kid to add to our glorified high school team.

Raising the already Magic/Jordan/Kobe/LeBron prices to watch a 20 win glorified high school team...what'll they think of next?

Haven't been to Staples Center to see the Lakers since 2001.

Raising ticket prices to go watch this shoddy product = I guess I have even less incentive to break that streak next year.

As long as there are people willing to pay more, I dont see any reason they shouldnt charge more. Its just good business.

True, but they are raising prices and no one was willing to pay more for resale this year. You could barely give a ticket away this year. So when you say "people willing". I guess that means "season ticket holders willing". If the season ticket holders are stuck with tickets then it is what it is?

Perhaps they know of a free agent that is definitely coming to the Lakers? Either way raising prices is putting the cart before the horse.

There is a lot of different speculation about the tickets prices going up. I think the FO wants to create a watchable team... So there is that possibility of raising the ticket prices.

Not speculation. The prices went up. My first bill was due April 4th for next season.

I repeat the prices went up

112 last row... look across court at laker bench. I have been doubling down each season and upgrading seats... even though the team has sucked. Hopefully sometime soon they will get better.

Hopefully "Analytics" have determined that the Lakers will have an Allstar next year and justify the ticket prices

Will the last 4 wins help out? Seems like a risk for any FA to jump to lakers, but potential huge reward.

Not only that but we have a FO in place that will at least get FAs to have meetings... so we will have attention, the question is rather the FO can sell high on the FAs without looking dumb.

Regardless..... ticket prices ticket prices ticket prices. The organization is dumping cost on the loyal fans by raising prices before there is a good product on the floor.
