He averages nearly a double double and we've seen how bad the team is when he doesn't play. I'd like to see him score a little more consistently, but he's a good player nevertheless. I see a bright future in LA with Kobe, Odom, Bynum and Cook. I like George too. I think our guards suck(except Kobe of course) though. Smush isn't consistent enough scoring and his D sucks. Vujacic totally sucks except for steals. Mihm is pretty good, especially lately, but mainly inconsistent. So, I think we need a better all around point guard. I don't think Kwame is worth keeping. I would try to trade Kwame and Smush and maybe something else for a good all around point guard.

Odom is part of the problem. He is our second scorer, but guess what? He can't score. Smush is part of the problem too, someone needs to sit him down and tell him that this isn't New York. This is the hardwood. Stop going for steals, dummy.

Odom is a BIG part of our problem if not the problem itself, 8 points for out second option last night ? Jesuschrist !

I rather have Cook as our second scorer

I said he almost averages a double double. Did you see the games when he didn't play? He was definitely needed. He's 13th in rebounds too. I think the can improve too. He's way too valuable to trade unless you can get someone who can rebound, score and assist more. We need a point guard that can score at least 10 points every game consistently and play D.

i disagree. Others carried the load RB's wise. we won the RB's battle or tied if I am correct. we lose game with and w/out LO. What we missed was the 12mil$$ missing from the floor

Heck no, Odom (although he has his mental break downs) is way way way better than Cook.

Ok, well how would you compare Lamar Odom's play to Smush and Vujacic's ? What do they do consistently? Odom consistently gets rebounds. Do they come close to averaging a double double? Do they play good D? No.... We are one player away from being good and I think it's at the point guard position. If you can get another power forward that can rebound and score better than Odom and a better PG, then do it. Otherwise keep LO and trade Kwame and Smush for a better PG. We would be better off if we had Caron Butler and Atkins IMO. What does Kwame do consistently beside making the 3rd most money? He's had maybe 3 good games so far this year.

They play a lot better than when he doesn't. Did you see the bobcats and hornets games? If he wasn't so valuable he would be resting his injury.

Did you see the Indy game where he was guarding Peja?

He still nearly average a double double. What do Kwame, Smush, Vujacic do? He has some bad games, but overall he is a good player. Odom got injured in that game anyway.

I used to hate Odom too. Then I realized he average nearly a double double and they are terrible when he's not playing. He also has the potential to be better. We need to get rid of the guys that aren't doing anything consistent like Kwame, Smush, Vujacic.

LO has regressed as the season flows. Hes the problem when he takes up that much $$$$$$$$$$$. 7yrs=no longer potential. He still cant shoot. he still is avg. defender. PJ is taking more and more facilitator duties from him

Bynum=Potential
LO= avg bballer

Grizzlies game he had 8 points, 7 rebounds, 7 assists. That's a good all around game.

Rockets game, he had 8 points, 13 rebounds, 2 assists. Another good game.

Mavericks game, he had 14 points, 6 rebounds, 7 assists. Again, good.

On the year he averages 13.8 points, 9.40 rebounds, 5.3 assists.

You really want to get rid of that?

Smush has been the weak lomk in our defense all year long. I really don't care how many points he scores, he is a huge hole on D.

Also, when Kwame and Mihm are out for any reaason, we have NOBODY who can guard a big. We saw that recently against SAC in OT and last night/

Totally agree. We need a point that defends (not can defend, actually defends). It's our greatest need at the moment. Ability to shoot a plus.
