Hey. KD is alright in my book. Possibly the second best player in the league. He pushed Dwight while in street clothes and called him a p&$$?... Gave 1 million dollars to tornado relief in OKC. Had the courage to leave OKC with an offense that circled around Westbrook and him taking turns on offense...

He's gotten this far with maybe (and I'm being generous) 20 percent Mamba Mentality... He can drop around 40 on OKC each time, which is impressive, except Kobe wouldn't care if the fans treated him bad. He would have dropped more. Not only that, Kobe would have ripped their hearts out unapologetically, time and time again. Then he would treat Westbrook like he treated Shaq all these years. Westbrook would have to be the one to wave the white flag and apologize first before Kobe could talk to him again. Kobe had no regrets. Durant will. Just like Shaq had regrets.

Where am I going with this? IDK! I haven't even mention one word on Big Game James. Are there any snake in the grass emojis on LG? No? Oh well... I really don't care what he says about Durant anyways...

Seriously.

Also does anyone actually believe Kevin Freaking Durant wouldn't have a couple championships playing with Magic and Kareem? These ringz arguments are so silly.

(bleep), he'd have at least one championship by now if Presti didn't trade James Harden for freaking Kevin Martin and Steven Adams.

^ Ok I thought it was just me lol

The whole thing is sports silly sauce, but the crux of the matter is that it is shady to say one thing to someone's face and say something entirely different on TV LOL

Ironic also how he told this story to prove a point that just because you have rings, that doesn't entitle you to be an (bleep), when he was addressing Shaq vs JaVale

I miss the old James Worthy. I always liked that he was a straight shooter, or at least I thought he was.

If he had something to say about Durant's choice, he could have shared it. Even a "hey, do what is best for you, it doesn't matter if we like your choice" would have been fine. But it sounds like he pretended to be on Durant's side even though he wasn't.

I started seeing this side of James with MDA and then how he completely flipped the script once it was his boy Byron. Even now he consistently takes shots at D'Angelo for the ice in my veins celebration even though James loved it at the time and has mimicked it countless times. Get it together, James.

Saying he wouldn't have done that doesn't mean isn't a direct insult to him. I don't smoke marijuana but that doesn't mean I have anything against people who do. Not the greatest of analogies but you get the point

5-0 if you count college.

Boo hoo, James Worthy was mean to me.

No wonder the guy coughed it up in Game 6 at home last year.

That KD isn't allowed to have opinions until he wins a championship, of course.

After spending 2 years hearing what he has been saying about DLO. KD would be best served not placing any of these oldies on a pedestal. Which at this point in his life, seems to be something he has figured out.

Worthy was really making a bold statement by saying he would never have left the freaking Showtime Los Angeles Lakers to go somewhere else to win a ring.

Unless James said something worse than what the article said I don't see what the big deal is. He is on TV and obviously everyone was asking about Durant's decision. Saying Magic and himself would not have done that isn't some big dis. Durant is being over sensitive to what everyone says. He didn't call him a piece of (bleep) he basically commentated on how things have changed.

Not sure why James can't say that on TV and give Durant some encouragement. Again he didn't say Durant should eat (bleep) and die. He is paid to talk about basketball.

A lot of current players overreact about every little thing now. I am not saying some legends haven't gone overboard with their criticism, but I don't see anything overboard here.

Yeah, even via hearsay from his bro, to boot. Kevin is a raw nerve. Pfft is my first reaction to any of his gripes.

If Worthy's titles with Kareem and Magic (88 Finals MVP, Kareem was OLD) weren't about sh, then it should be nice and easy for Kevin to do it in GS. But I'll believe that'll happen when I see it.

Fake News!

TMZ.com wrote:
James Worthy Fires Back at Kevin Durant After KD Trashed Him

James Worthy ain't backing down from Kevin Durant -- saying the NBA star was not only WRONG when he trashed him on a recent podcast, but claims KD's underhanded allegations could seriously damage his career.

Worthy is upset about a story Durant told on "The Bill Simmons Podcast" -- in which KD says he met Worthy last year and they had a very cool conversation about Durant leaving OKC for Golden State.

But Kevin says he learned a short time later that Worthy trashed him about the move during a TV interview. Durant felt betrayed and called James "shady" and "corny."

But Worthy says Durant's version of the story is simply untrue -- and he was so upset, he tracked down the TV interview in question to prove he's not a two-faced liar.

Worthy says he reached out to the Golden State Warriors in an effort to clear things up with Durant and had hoped KD would set the record straight on a podcast this week, but that didn't happen.

Worthy says he's REALLY upset at KD's agent, Rich Kleiman, for encouraging the NBA star to "go negative."

Still, James says Durant is one of his favorite players and he hopes they can squash the beef.

Stay tuned ...

welp this makes Durant look worse. First calls himself the servant, then runs with his tail tucked between his legs to the warriors, now james calling him out for being a puppet to his agent
