I wouldn't mind Blake Griffin on the lakers

The dream: sign Blake (and he stays healthy for the contract), trade Randle/JC/Houston pick for PG, and draft Ball/Fultz. Won't happen, but I wish.

Issues that need resolving:

DLO needs to find a way to get himself going when hes cold.

Luke's coaching.

Has to stop trying to riding the hot unit to wins. This inevitably has long term consequencs on the contiuity of the team.

When one of your best players s cold, run plays for easy scores for them. Also dont bench them for too long. You cannot let a cold streak become a funk.

Finally, improve the rotations and dont bench one of your best players when they are hot.

Overall, Lukes philosophy is too preoccupied with the colective and he coaches to win that particular game often at the detriment of the long term

Not if he stays healthy, which is a big if. He can play, and he can sure as hell run and finish with a guy like Ball and PG13.

Poor game by DLO, but alot of his shots were in and out.
Games like this will always be a risk for him until he feels more comfortable in the other aspects of his game and doesnt have to rely on his shooting so much

So you want Luke to ride hot players only when theyre the best players on the team but not anyone else?

I think they should be given a preference. But, I think if a specific player is hot its ok to ride them, but he often rides entire units. This is especially true if they are the bench units.

However, when DLO or BI are hot, he benches them.

The result over the long term is that you limit the minutes of your more talented players in favor of your less talented players. This will only result in failure over the long term in the NBA.

This issue is compounded when your best players are young and need confidence to develop

Starters looked asleep. 1230 start for them, they're probably waking up on the norm at 11am.
