I would not mind an older, slightly tougher coach added to the staff....have felt like the young guys need a "bad cop" sometimes.

It's his fault our guys don't know how to rotate properly and are never on the same page when guarding the pick and roll, yeah. The team being young does not absolve him of all, or even most, of the criticism.

Is he? I never knew that was his assignment, I wasn't even sure who had that assignment actually.

He's officially the associate head coach, but IIRC Luke said he was essentially going to take command of the offense and put Shaw in charge of the defense.

He was a player development coach one year removed from being a video coordinator. And he's returning to his alma mater.

Now, if Mermurys leaves to be an assistant at USC, we might have a problem.
