at the age of 90 from kidney failure. Man, that guy was one of a kind, there has never been a comedian like him and there never will be. Some of those celebrity roasts he participated in were instant classics. _________________ RIP mom. 11-21-1933 to 6-14-2023.

Insults rolled off his tongue like water off a ducks back. His facial expressions were priceless. RIP. _________________ Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.
America will never be destroyed from the outside. If we falter and lose our freedoms, it will be because we destroyed ourselves.
As a kid, I remember laughing hysterically when my father shared with me some of the more tame Rickles insults ... apparently, my parents attended a show in the 1980s during which he began abusing two bald men seated near one another with their lady friends in an Atlantic City showroom, at one point waving them off when they tried to fight back. In classic form, he dismissed them with an abusive Rickles zinger that apparently delighted the (bleep) out of me at 9 or 10 years old.
Something like "Why don't you two put your heads together and make an ass outta yourselves" ...

One of the funniest people who ever lived. His mind was so sharp and he was truly hilarious, and it's quite possible that he will go down as the very last comedian of his kind. And he was one of the most genuinely kind human beings you could want to meet. "Mr. Warmth", indeed.

Loved that little (bleep)! Damn. _________________ “We must always take sides. Neutrality helps the oppressor, never the victim. Silence encourages the tormentor, never the tormented.” ― Elie Wiesel
I just re-peeped Casino only a few days ago. He was Sam "Ace" Rothstein's second guy at the jernt. Joe Pesci attacked him with a phone. _________________ GOAT MAGIC REEL SEDALE TRIBUTE EDDIE DONX!

I had no idea he was still alive. His style of comedy would be highly problematic today. I'm not sure whether that's a good thing or a bad thing.
The crazy thing is that for all of his outward abrasiveness and antagonism in regards to his comedy, he has always been touted as one of the kindest and most supportive members of the comedic community. _________________ You thought God was an architect, now you know

It seems weird to think he's no longer alive but the dude was married for 52 years and that's just amazing.
RIP
And he didn't marry her until he was 38. My grandparents got married at 18 and 20, respectively, and had 69 years of marriage, as both were lucky enough to make it to old age.
The guy had quite a life. And everyone loved him. I'm going to watch Kimmel tonight and I would imagine he could be a bit emotional.

This might be my favorite Rickles set ever. Doing his thing and roasting the Washington political elites like it's nothing. And Reagan loves it. Also, note how wonderful his message to President Reagan is at the end, even though Rickles was a lifelong Democrat. Total class.

I feel like such a jerk for this, but can somebody go to the subject line and spell that man's name right? Just fix it, please. _________________ So glad we gave you your flowers while you were here, Kobe.
