BirdMagicLegend wrote: | As a Celtics fan who loves Marcus Smart's big time, clutch plays at the end of games and his hard defense, his offense is terrible usually because IT, Bradley and other players are asked to be the primary scorers.
However, the main difference in this game was that Stevens asked Smart to take on the leadership role this time and he proved that he can be a great player tonight. I've seen Smart with more confidence and scoring more when he is put into this role. With Thomas out, he had to do what he did to win the game. |
You're likely setting yourself up for major disappointment if you expect Smart to duplicate this performance any time in the near future. In all probability, this was an aberration for Smart. |

Love Smart for his defense (and I wanted him or Jules at #7 in the 2014 draft).
That being said, he won't shoot 7-10 from 3s again. _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals |

The broom is out in San Antonio.
It isn't sweeping yet, but it is out of the closet.
Manu could go for 40 though in his swan song. _________________ Love, Laker Lanny |

Curry's ballhandling is amazing, he is probably the 2nd best in the league behind Kyrie Irving in that way.
That said, he has come down to earth on his 3 pt shooting compared to last season when he was doing things I had never seen before.
Now he looks human. _________________ Love, Laker Lanny |

If you want to discuss what a MVP is, remember the Spurs were up 25 or something in Game 1 until ZaZa went WWF on Kawhi.
Kawhi is a beast, really a great 2 way player. _________________ Love, Laker Lanny |

too bad the warriors are going to get sole possession of the single playoff run win streak, was hoping that the Cavs would also get it. |

Is everyone supportive of bringing Pau back if there is mutual interest? I believe he would want to finish his career in LA or maybe Memphis. |

Sentimentally for me always, but practical reality both sides have moved on and Lakeshow is going in a different direction. _________________ #IStillBelieveTaurean |

This series feels like our first round series against the Spurs in 2013 when Kobe tore his achilles. The whole team just looked defeated, as the Spurs have since Kawhai went down |

He was their best defensive player on the team. No surprise they are having their way with them now. |

The fact that the whole crowd says "two shots" or "three shots" on every foul shot for San Antonio is just…yeah.... _________________ #IStillBelieveTaurean |

Pau looks done. He's too old now to hang with small ball teams and he can't score anymore to make up for it. I wouldn't mind himback for the minimum to play a KG on the Twolves role (sit on the bench being a cheerleader and a locker room mentor), but no way he leaves 12 million in San Antonio to do that. |

Iggy has been pretty terrible this post season. Wherever Klay's shot went, it took Iggy's with it. |

It's sad, but I think an over the hill Pau has outplayed Aldridge today. |
