I don't want Paul George on this team.

No ice on his veins.

Too much 1 on 1 from Kyrie

That's why the Cavaliers were an NBA wasteland before LeBron returned to Cleveland a few years back. And that's why the 1A/1B nonsense from the usual suspects after the 2016 NBA Finals was just that ... straight-up nonsense.

And PG13 - he's never going to be the player so many of you hope and dream he might be ... I wouldn't say no to acquiring him if the price was right (or via free agency), but I have little (to no) confidence that he'll ever be an A player.

the amount of (bleep) on Kyrie to prop up Lebron's legacy will never cease to amaze me. used to happen in Miami too. Kyrie can be a bonehead going 1 on 1, but that was exactly what they needed in the Finals when their ENTIRE OFFENSE was getting the switch and going to work. and Kyrie delivered one of the most legendary performances I've ever seen. looked like AI + Kobe. but yeah Lebron could've averaged 80 and won I'm sure.

Get over it, man ... you lost this battle like five years ago. Kyrie's a really nice player ... but he's not even a playoff qualifier without LeBron. He's capable of being the leader on a 20 - 30 win team, period.

Its hard to feel bad when we were never going to win this series to begin with. We did enough to make it look competitive but in the end the NBA would never want LeBrat to get bounced from the first round.

Its sucks that our season ended at home, in a sweep, to LeBrat of all people.

But honestly if it means Nate is no longer the coach and Bird decides to retire its worth it to me regardless of whether Paul stays or not.

And he's the only person that bothered to show up these past four games.

Glad this meh season is over.

Lebron's gonna win it all again this year. He's too clutch now and the refs give the Cavs every call

Yeah, he was not good....that last sequence, falling down and then bricking the 3 was brutal.

whatever "battle" I lost 5 years ago doesn't absolve you of engaging in blatant hindsight bias just because Lebron was the poster boy for the new age "advanced analytics" culture in basketball and you spent your days sharpening your knife against Kobe fans because Kobe's style was becoming obsolete. I don't mean to project, but this is the vibe you've given off in almost every post I've read from you. so maybe you should give it up, the "battle" was settled 5 years ago.

but I really can't get with the "I'm very clearly a fan of one player but I'm going to seem impartial and rational by bombarding you with numbers". You're missing the nuance, and you're just shouting at people instead of talking to them. grab a beer and go watch the finals again. I'll even watch it with you. then tell me how Lebron and Kyrie weren't 1a/1b.

So happy for Lou. He always seemed to enjoy being a Laker to me and didn't mind sticking around during the rebuild and having a leadership role, so it's great for him that the FO was at least able to move him to a playoff team.

Westbrook has played a masterful first half so far. When he's hitting on all cylinders it's beautiful basketball.

George is another Lamarcus Aldridge. Teams will never win anything with him as their #1 guy. He's a 3rd guy on maybe a championship team.

Shot 5-21 today. I don't believe in paying max money to 3rd options.

If Russ could could shoot a good percentage OKC might actually pull an upset this series, but even so I expect the Rockets to get going at home. OKC really needed to win that game 2.

Curry shot a career low 3% this year. That's a big part of his game.

I mostly agree with that. Another reason why I think it'd be a huge mistake in the end to gut the young core for him, especially Ingram.

Both the Thunder and Rockets lost the season series to the Spurs, which is probably the 2nd round opponent for whomever team wins this series.

Oh, please, man ... give that (bleep) up already. Dude gets (bleep) mauled every possession, gets the call 25% of the time, and you want to howl about him getting away with calls. FFS already ...
