I will not lose any sleep if Young walks:

KCP
Reddick
Tim Hardaway Jr
Kelly Olynyk
Anthony Morrow

Those guys can display the 40% from 3 that Young did, plus they play better D.

Not for 5 million

And that 5M is gonna boom to 35-40M if some team is willing to pay him, that's why I think Lakers will let him walk,

I think Young's replacement could come via the draft not free agency.

Kennard, Ojeleye, or Hart would be good picks with the Houston 1st.

none of those guys are playing for $5 Million....Olynyk does not shoot 40% from 3 or the volume of Swaggy, and I have seen traffic cones play more defense than Morrow.

But they are good replacements, even if they aren't sharpshooters.. they would fill the void... Young hasn't been on a winning team his whole career while most of those guys have at least been on teams who at least are competitive.

Ojeleye is a PF.

The Lakers gotta figure something out this offseason. I want to say they'll increase the win total if they keep the core as is, but keep in mind they're going into next season without Lou Will and now likely Nick Young.

the question will be if Nick will give us a discount to stay. If it's within say a million/year he might, maybe more. Then we can use the rest of our money to overpay the next Mozgov/Deng

He might, if we create a playoff team.

Great guy. Okay at basketball. Would have been a fine pickup if the deal he was signed to made any friggin sense whatsoever

what's he talking about? He's been on the bench his whole career

Mozgov didn’t love being on the bench and not playing as the Lakers developed younger players. Wasn’t easy for him, nor should it have been.

Horrible situation for him, horrible contract for the Lakers.

There's a warped balance in there somewhere.

When I look at your pay vs your production, I don't feel sorry for you Mos. Go out there and earn it.

Should have just stayed with GM Lebron and friends. God Mitch thanks for signing this guy for another two more damning years where this dude thinks he's a starting center

Good maybe he will agree to a buyout so he can start on another team.
