| I was going to add a 3rd option, but clearly Ball is not worth #1 pick. So if we do get #1, I expect a trade or draft the best player in the Draft. |

Sorry, but you are wrong about that.
There were more folks voting on him than on Fultz to be our starting PG next season in another thread.
You should add drafting him as an option to make this a valid poll |

I feel like if this happens I'll try to console myself in saying "at least we kept the pick". I understand that some stud could come out in 2018 if Philly gets the first pick, but at this point I'll do everything in my power to stay excited with Ball #1 seeing as we could have at that point lost the pick, and losing two 2nds to Orlando in 2919 is better than a 1st. |

Depends really. Workouts are going to be what determines who we pick at 1. Fultz is the consensus #1 pick. But all it would take is a great workout from Jackson or Ball and that could change the thought process of any team at the #1 pick.
I said before, I wouldn't be surprised if Boston got the #1 pick and wound up shocking everyone and getting Josh Jackson instead of Fultz or Ball.

| If we are fortunate enough to get #1 or #2, I would first try to swing a deal with Chicago for Jimmy Butler. If we are unable to obtain Butler, I would go ahead and draft Ball. He is one of those rare players that don't have to score single point and have an impact on the game. |

| I didn't mean it to be a loaded poll. I just wanted to be sure that Ball is liked as a sure fire pick for us if available. Watching Spectrum Sports they seemed to feel like he is our pick if available. The first option is basically picking for Ball to be Lakers. Getting #1 is an asset and I have not seen any mock draft picking ball #1, so first option is just FO adding more asset (ie getting extra pick or taking some of our bad contract) while still getting Ball. |

It is a loaded poll. I mean, where is the "Yes, draft ball" option? I either have the option of not drafting him, or, drafting him #2 or #3.

Originally I wanted Lonzo, but not since Lavar started running his mouth more and more after UCLA was eliminated. We don't need the headache.
I'm also not sure how focused Lonzo is on basketball. He seems to be more into selling shoes and rapping...anything to make a buck.
Draft Fultz with our pick. If he's off the board then trade it. |
