GKMC is definitely better than TPAB. Tons of memorable songs.

But as much as I like Kendrick and have him as probably my favorite of the current crop of in-vogue rappers, I might have to argue that the lesser known Hopsin does just about everything better (besides storytelling perhaps).

Then again I'd take the Slim Shady and Marshall Mathers LPs over Kendrick's entire catalog, so maybe I have strange tastes.

Hopsin (Marcus Hopson) was an actor in a TV show I edited a few years ago. Good actor and we actually used one of his tracks in an episode.

In Duckworth, there is a repeating bass line starting at about 37 seconds right after "just to remind you sweetheart that my..." to about 54 seconds and then again. Heavy and deep. It is so familiar but I can't remember in what song or sample I have heard it or something very similar before. Does anybody know?

I love that switch man! I looked it up, it was taken from here:

I like the singing too, but that's from before the 37 second point. I meant the part the juicy funk right after. Thought I was going to hear it at the youtube link and built up all this anticipation because it was in my head all day before I got home. DAMN.

FEAR is such a great track too. I can't get enough of this album. It's becoming a problem.
