Just seeing if anyone out there knows of other ways to get Lakers games if I'm out of state other other than with NBA League Pass?

The cost of doing business with DirecTv is getting too costly, and I only use them for League Pass to see the Lakers and get SportsNet as well. If I can find another provider, I would use them.

Any advice or info would be greatly appreciated.

When I had a power outage, I downloaded the Spectrum Sportsnet app and watched the game live there.

So I'm wondering too if you have a friend who has sportsnet and willing to give you their password and they arent going to be watching online, you could do it that way.

Btw, the quality on the app is stellar imo

What is your problem with the League Pass? It works great for me.

League Pass is available through Roku and Firestick if you're just trying to dump cable/satalite.

League pass has been horrible for me on every device I've used. I go to reddit when I can't get the game locally or on SlingTV. I am not gonna pay for a terrible, monopolistic service that rarely works well.

It's the overall cost of DirecTV. I love league pass, but just need to find another provider who carries it.

Spectrum carries it and is cheaper than DirecTV.

If you have Verizon Wireless, I believe League Pass is free on their Go90 app.

Also, if you call DirecTV to tell them you are canceling they will typically reduce your bill by 30-40% for one year through the use of "promotions".

Just sucks having to go through the song and dance every year but I did it for 4 years. Finally switched to Spectrum but DirecTV didnhave more HD channels.
