The Jump should trade Byron Scott for a better former Laker. Big Game? Big Shot Bob? Big Aristotle? Anyone but him...

Not Nance, please.

If it takes getting rid of a role player to complete a deal, we have to do it.

We could easily replace Nance with a low cost option that provides the same skills.

I get that but PG13 or whoever needs folks to play with. And I get so tired of watching these teams and seeing someone like say that Engles guy on Utah and thinking "why don't we have someone like that?!?" because we sold the farm to have a superstar and now we have people like Chris Duhon on the bench. We've had some really terrible benches and honestly I don't think **really good** role players are that easily replaceable. I picture LNJr becoming the semi-star, Rick Fox-type role player. He's on our bench already and I don't want to lose him and hope we get someone else eventually.

No one sincerely cares about Byron's basketball opinions. If he could do it all over again with coaching the Lakers he'd probably do everything exactly the same. That's why you ain't coaching, B.

I would not trade any assets for him without a sign and trade. I know some are confident that with his bird rights he will probably stay. I contend you do not know what the man is thinking, he may want to be on a contender. We have seen many people use LA name for there advantage.

We would be in worse shape if we trade a lot of our young assets for a 1 year rental. I just don't know if it is worth it.

What Byron says: Trade young guys for PG13

What Byrons means: Trade DLo by any means necessary

I believe that Magic wants to make that "BIG Splash". If we do indeed keep the pick and it is a #1 or 2 pick, and we draft either Ball or Fultz I could see Magic jumping off a cliff to make the biggest splash possible.

I am sure BS has been in Magic's ear about DLO. I can see Magic pulling the trigger quickly "if" we get a 1st or 2nd pick. Then with Ball /Fultz, DLO becomes expendable in "Magic's" eye.

DLO and Randle for PG-13 probably have magic and MR. BS salivating.

They figure they will build around PG-13, Ingram, the pick, and Zubac.

Not a fan of it personally, but I can see it happening....

I think so too. If the lakers land that pick and get fultz or ball, magilinka is going to turn around and flip DLO+ for PG13.

I also think it's stupid but I'm pretty confident this is their "plan A"

I'd do that in a heartbeat and Magic probably too, but I don't believe Indi would.

Of course you would but doubtful that Magic would. Giving away two position players for a guy who plays the same position as last year's second pick? Give them Ingram and keep DLO and Randle. They would fit well with PG, Ingram does not.

Julius is filler, I don't look at him as a long term solution and we are going to pay him soon.

Magic has indicated the opposite

Well if we're going off what Magic has indicated, I don't know how you can say Ingram would be traded over DLO

and I'm saying this while DLO is my favorite player in the league
