I think it's always been in the back of my mind. Running off to Alaska to be a fisherman or moving to Montana to be a ranch hand. That was always more fantasy than real back up plan but as I look back, the yearning was always there in one way or another. To get outside, work with my hands. Build and fix stuff. If there is a burning desire to change, the change, when it happens will not be scary at all. I never once have doubted what I'm doing, instead there is a new found sense of pride and self worth.
