With the first pick in the 2017 NBA Draft, the Los Angeles Lakers select Lonzo Ball, guard UCLA....

I have a weird feeling about the Magic and Timberwolves moving up in the draft. Sixers have the odds on their side though.

Either of the top 3 will give us a great amount of leverage. I would think that if we get 1 or 2, Lonzo is the obvious option, because he's really a PG in a SF body. With him at the helm Russell becomes expendable.

No matter what pick we get in this years draft, we need to trade for a star player as well as a big man, because we won't find a big in the draft.

Paul George is the obvious star option for the Lakers in a trade and we have the resources to make it happen with Deng and Mozgov + pics, especially if he's wanting to bolt! I think chemistry will be the most glaring concern going forward and the Lakers should definitely consider that.

Phoenix at one of the top 3 spots throws a wrench in everything simply because they are solid at both guard spots with Bledsoe and Booker, Boston on the other hand could use some help in the back court.

Ball + George + Ingram + Randle + Zubac

This is a young lineup and not suited for a playoff run.
Some big time work will have to be done this off season for the Lakers to be able to compete next year.

Markkanen will be a better pro than Josh Jackson

Doubling Down: Josh Jackson will get traded before his rookie contract expires and will have off court issues.

Magic usually gets the #1 pick every 12 years
