So he could be top 5 in assists as a rookie by the end of the season. If that doesn't float your boat take a look at his ridiculously low usage rate. If that still doesn't do it for you take a look at his crazy low turn over rate. There is so much to be excited about in Ball. Oh yea, he's also a PG that has an impact defensively.

Not to mention he is averaging 11.3 points, 8.5 assists, 7.3 rebounds, 1.5 blocks, and 1.8 steals during that stretch. |
It's all starting to come together for him The game is starting to slow down you can see it he looks more comfortable, still a long way to go, but you can see he looks a lot better For all of us who stuck with the young man this is fun to watch and its only going to get better |

Lonzo is going be fine. I think he will be a big recruiting chip for guys like PG13 and Boogie, guys who know they will be fed the ball to score. Lonzo's low usage, elite passing, really impressive defense will make up for his current shooting woes. _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals |

Kuz needs to start. With Lopez not hitting... so many lost assists for Lonzo.
I wish that he would play more off the ball in the half court like he did at UCLA as well. _________________ R.I.P. Doc Buss |

I'm having a difficult time processing the idea that Lonzo's averaging 7 assists per game as a rookie on a team where literally no one can (bleep) shoot |

Here's What LeBron Said to Lonzo Ball After Last Night's Cavs—Lakers Game
Quote: | With that knowledge, LeBron covered his mouth so that no one could see what he was saying to the rookie. He even said after the game that what he and Ball discussed is none of the media's business. But the media are inescapable, and a courtisde mic picked up a part of what the four-time MVP had to say. |
Quote: | "Find your zone and just stay f---ing locked in," James said, per r/NBA. "The media is going to ask you what I told you right now but so what. Just be aggressive every single day...it's white noise. That's all it is. Alright?" |

Apparently, the audio was picked up somehow. If Lebron wanted to actually keep it private, he should of just told Lonzo he'd talk to him after the game, in person, or by phone. |

Okay. Well I'm glad the tv guy isn't Nance Sr then. The Boston guy is probably the worst. For some reason I remember not liking Houston and Toronto's as well. |

Why are Simmons' DRPM and DBPM so high? I've watched a few games from him and for the life of me I don't understand what makes him so great a defender in these metrics. He's solid but not outstanding by my eye test. |

4 guys ahead of Lonzo play less than 20 MPG. Lonzo is already a top 10 defender at the PG position. The J Kidd comps are looking more and more correct as the season goes on. |

I also don't understand this...I would guess that he benefits from being on the floor with some other really good defenders (Covington, Embiid, etc.). |

He gets a lot of steals, blocks, and rebounds/assists. All three of those are important to DBPM. As for DRPM... well Zach Lowe said early on that Simmons' defense was really good for a rookie, so maybe he's actually just good? I don't have my own opinion there as I haven't watched much of him. |
