We look so disjointed when he doesn’t play. Pretty much a guaranteed loss.

Team shows literally no fight with Zo out. They look exactly like last year's team. Adversity? Blowout.

I was encouraged by how they battled back in the first, but the wheels fell off quick. The second half? Laugher.

I'm not too concerned. Young PGs have injury issues usually due to frail bodies. John Wall, Steph, Kyrie, Dlo, Lowry, Jrue, etc. They usually continue building up their core with NBA training and nutrition and have become healthier as their careers have gone on.

Yea to be honest , most star players have had serious injuries... Like 90% of em.. Hopefully Lonzo doesn't follow suit

Lopez is a block out guy. The point is to pair him with a Lonzo.

I know he is, but it rings hollow when the guy he's supposedly boxing out is getting a million offensive boards. Granted not all of them were on Lopez, but a couple were. The one on the missed free throw was inexcusable.

That was horrific, and I'm not saying he didn't perform poorly tonight.

Fair enough. I've always found the boxing out narrative a little overstated, but I agree he's the kind of guy who needs a Lonzo type guard to drop down and actually grab rebounds.

Hopefully Lonzo plays vs Boston. Or they are going to embarrass us like they did last season at Staples.

Man, we are straight garbage when Lonzo isn’t on the floor.

If i’m the analytics guys for the lakers I tell Luke, here is your starting lineup

Lonzo
Clarkson
Hart
Kuzma
Randle

BI, KCP, Lopez off the bench.

Per Chris Broussard he said he has on good authority that Lebron wont come to the Lakers because of Lavar and the Lakers may need to trade Lonzo to get Lebron....

Hell
No.

Theres no way Id trade away Lonzo for an aging dude who no matter what isnt getting past Golden State anyway.

CB, very convenient. He has it on good authority that LeBron won't come to the Lakers due to Lavar. Does he have it on good authority that LeBron is leaving Cleveland? Or is he going to any other team? Or did his source simply mention the Lakers only? Very convenient Broussard.

I would take any comments in January about what a player will and won't do in July with a grain of salt. Having said that, I find it 100% credible that Lavar Balltic is a negative for Lebron or any other major free agent. Whether he is enough of a negative to affect someone's decision remains to be seen.

I think people are giving Lavar way too much credit.

Agreed. I can't see current players, much less superstars letting Lavar Ball affect their game. Is Jordan Clarkson thinking about Lavar Ball when he's on the court? I doubt it. It might annoy Luke a bit, but that's all.

lmao at the thought of Bron being concerned about Lavar....that is just about the most ridiculous thing I've heard.

If Bron is coming here the lakers will be making sweeping changes.....but that won't include moving Lonzo

Whatever you want to say about @ZO2_ the @Lakers are a different team without him, so he does have an impact on the game when he’s on the court.

Thus far, the only NBA player who seemed to care was Patrick Beverly.

Things aren't looking too likely on that front, but fingers crossed.

Yeah true..but losing to the Knicks > losing to Boston

Losing to every other team in the league > losing to Boston
