January 13. It's encouraging that the rest of the team has figured out how to play effectively with sort of a makeshift arrangement at point guard. |

This time off could actually be good for his "rookie wall." Some time to recharge. |

Are our banged up guys all going to play in the Rookie Challenge? I'd almost rather see them rest (and I'll skip watching). |

I guess it's pretty far off still. NVM. |

If there is a silver lining sometimes sitting on the bench you get a different perspective of the game. I think this will help him when he comes back. _________________ Nobody in the NBA can touch the Laker brand, which, like the uniform color, is pure gold. |

Any assumption about their silence ? |
For some reason, Luke guards some bits of information like they're state secrets. I know that someone asked him if there was an updated diagnosis on Thursday and Luke straight up said "no". |

If only they would treat their 2018 FA plans with such secrecy |

Haha, if Luke was in charge of that they probably would. |

maybe they wanted the opponent to have to prepare as if Lonzo may play. Maybe they wanted the guys playing in Lonzo's place to feel like every minute could be their last as a starter or backup mins.
A lot of reasons I can think of not to say anything. In fact, I would have kept on saying nothing. _________________ "He may say it's not you, it's him.... but it's really you." |

I put this in general basketball discussion forum, but given that sixers fans are obsessed with Lonzo and Fultz/Lonzo will be linked because they went 1/2 in same draft...

My conclusion is that it is dishonest and they were trying to hide something.
Maybe Boogie was one of the FAs on the fence about coming here, and was worried about Lonzo's health, and when he got hurt... they no longer needed to hide it. I think they said a lot of vague sh*t when Nash was injured, too.
If a team gives you mysterious answers about a player's health, I'd say it's almost always because they are hiding a serious problem and they are either trying to keep the player's value or the team's outlook high. |

I've forgotten how magical his game is.
Will need to be re-introduced to the Lakers fanbase if/when he comes back. Maybe some kind of ceremony. |

I thought they were going to have a full practice today? This whole situation is bizarre. |
