On the player page on Basketball Reference, under "Shooting".

74.6% of Lonzo's 3's have been assisted.

But how many of his misses were "assisted"?

I do not, but I have also looked for that info. Sorry for the useless response. For 3s, I find catch & shoot vs. pullup tends to be a useful proxy.

Thank you, that's probably the best way to go. I wish there was a way to triangulate his assisted v. unassisted makes with C&S v. pullup jumpers. Or I could just join Twitter and bug Cranjis to see if he's willing to share Synergy data lol.

My go to is nba.com:
https://stats.nba.com/player/1628366/shooting/

But it doesnt give you the % based on the type of shot.

And unfortunately, this gives you the type of shot, but not the asst%

So 75% of his made threes are assisted and he shoots 32% on C&S threes versus 29% on pullup threes. Probably not enough data there to draw any meaningful conclusions. I do wonder what it would look like excluding his horrific shooting in November.

Ah ha!

So since December 1st he's still shooting 29% on his pullup threes, but hitting a respectable 38.7% on his C&S threes. The data lines up with the ol' eye test.

Just saw the video with Lonzo shooting. He looks super gimpy. I wouldn't expect him back until after the All Star game.

Luke Walton says that soreness not the issue with Lonzo Ball, but focus is on not pushing through pain. Walton said Lonzo did stuff yesterday until he felt pain & then stopped doing what he was doing and went to other non pain causing activities.

Sounds like Lakers are not going to let Lonzo play until he’s virtually pain free. He’s been working to the point of pain and when he feels it, they have him do something else that doesn’t hurt. As I wrote yesterday, there’s a distinct possibility he’s out until post All Star.

I'm all for holding out Lonzo. We do not need a Cousins' like situation on our end.

Don't forget I update all this type of stuff in your friendly neighborhood Injuries/Absences thread

Ball officially out per Trudell

Lonzo Ball won’t play tonight with that sore knee. Here he is going through a workout with asst. coach Miles Simon hours before the game as he continues to test how the knee responds.

FWIW, I saw Ingram getting shots up when they were testing his ankle before a game, and they had him going at a similar speed, which is probably smart.

Lonzo could be out for a while longer, but I wouldn't draw conclusions from that video.

At some point the Lakers' win percentage without Lonzo is gonna exceed their win percentage with him. Wonder if that's gonna bring out the "bust" claims
