If his knee is still bothering him it's got to be something more than a sprain |

If Luke has to go with those tactics to beat a team that OPENLY WANTS TO LOSE. Wow. | So true!!! Frustrating AF. |

Let’s not over dramatize the situation, he clearly stated in the practice interview today that he can play but that the staff has the final word, in fact he could have played a while back if the Lakers weren’t being so cautious |

Yeah seems to be shooting exclusively with his arms/shoulder. No legs. |

He shoots just after the apex of his jump, I think. It’s either on his way down or when he lost all upward movement, so he loses a lot of of the work from his legs.
Plus, he gets the ball above his head so much later than a guy like Isaiah when you watch the two. All of that slows down his shot. |

Watch the difference in the feet between the two. I honestly don't care about the way Lonzo brings the ball up any more. I just want him to fix his footwork. |

I had to watch after reading this - he looks all over the map, but almost all of his misses that hit the front of the rim came from shots he launched late, after he reached the apex of his jump as you said. Oddly enough, he seemed to be hitting a good percentage from the peak, and going long when he launched on his way up where he gets the benefit of the work from his legs. Not a perfect correlation, but you can almost tell which ones are going in based on his timing. His timing did seem to get better the few times he trotted a couple steps and launched it.
I can't see how he can fix any other mechanic in his shot if he doesn't have the the footwork down. How do you drill muscle memory on any other fundamental when you're all over the map on your lift?
What really impressed me was how the Laker shooting coach was right there working with him all the way, walking him through his timing, demonstrating what to do, and not letting up until Lonzo had this right. The coach with the invisibility cloak. |

He needs to get a real basketball trainer this summer. Dad's too busy and he took him as far as he could. _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals |

This is essential. In fact if the Lakers don't insist doing this during the off season, as well as, during next season, it would be negligent or even criminal. |

Yeah. That’s accurate.
As was mentioned, his footwork is floppy. I’m sure he’s experiencing fatigue but his balance, in the worst moments, looks like a grade schooler. _________________ We back. |
