I am big fan of Lonzo but his body language is scary for me. He lacks interest in my opinion. On the court but also during these videos form practice. Its his mentality I know but its not a good thing for sure.

He's tired. He said he doesn't have his legs yet. But if you're expecting a mamba-like demeanor out of him, you'll be waiting a long time. His intensity was questioned at UCLA too. You can still be a high impact player without screaming and yelling. I still think he can become a super high-impact role player a la Draymond Green.

I think too.
I am not expecting Mamba behaviour but some more interest and desire yes for sure.

Yeah, Kobe's mental toughness is simply not realistic for Zo. But at least a quieter, JKidd style of competitiveness/intensity would be nice.

Lonzo should be starting. Sink or swim. He is too passive. We need to see what he is capable of.

Yeah, a lot of my friends from UCLA who watched every minute of him in college said not to expect someone who could be The Man for a championship team. Hopefully, he could fill a key role in our return to greatness, though.

He has to at least look at the basket when penetrating on the pick and roll. Have to keep the defense honest.

Good one. Heck, Rondo is a pretty dispassionate dude.

None of those guys lacked aggressiveness ON the court.

That wasn't the issue that was being addressed.

How do you define aggressiveness on the court? Is it being vocal? Driving the lane? Being an a$$ like Beverly?

Neither does Lonzo. He's ineffective offensively to this point but he doesn't lack aggression. He just plays a style you don't like.

Aggressiveness on the court: attacking the basket, getting FTs, taking shots, etc.

How about rebounding and pushing the ball, jumping passing lanes, and providing weakside blocks? Does that take aggressiveness?

Attacking the basket will come under the guidance of Magic/LBJ.

Ft's is related to attacking the basket. Not sure by itself that is an aggressive trait.

He is not afraid of taking shots as he showed last season and in relation to his role as PG on the team. I personally am not a fan of high volume PG shooters unless his name is Steph Curry.

And a good screener. Just not aggressive when he has the ball

Maybe we can term Lonzo as passive-agressive

It’s why he’s the perfect fit with LeBron.

He also got seven shots up in 18 minutes coming off an injury and playing with Stephenson, so not that bad.

He's usually incredibly aggressive defensively. The notion that he has a low motor says more about the attention span and viewing interests of particular posters than of Zo, IMO

Who said he has low motor?

He is getting back into shape but his aggressiveness on defense is different than offense. He has no confidence in his driving game, shooting, etc. The main problem is, he really didn't have a summer to improve on those things. Let's see how much the added strength helps his finishing. My main worry: he has no touch on offense. He really needs to get his UCLA 3-ball back for him to be solid on offensive.
