Scorers do generally take more punishment.

Let’s compare a career 42% 3point shooter to a guy who shoots that percentage at the freethrow line

Steve Nash could shoot.

True, you make an obvious observation.

Aggressiveness on the court: attacking the basket, getting FTs, taking shots, etc.

How about rebounding and pushing the ball, jumping passing lanes, and providing weakside blocks? Does that take aggressiveness?

He's not aggressive offensively.

Aggressive with his passes and taking 3pt shots. He does attack the lane but passes too often. Needs to be more selfish and take the shot instead of a kick out which I believe he will this season.

So it depends on how you define aggressive.

Lonzo Ball being more selfish will likely result in even lower shooting percentage. He is not a scorer, never will be. We knew this when we had the opportunity to select Tatum.

So being more selfish by scoring at the hoop will lower his fg%? Did you understand the context of my post? You don't believe he will be more efficient scoring in this manner?

As of right now there’s no evidence that leads me to believe he will score more efficiently at the rim.

Sure I'll compare

SN first 4 years 3.3, 9.1, 7.9, 8.6 ppg as a 22,23,24 and 25 year old.

LB 10.2 as a 20 year old.

Quite a few stats in favor of LB just as there are a few in SN's favor.

I was waiting for that. He scored 50% on attempts 0-3 ft last season. Even if that doesn't change but he increased his usage wouldn't he be more efficient?

You can say it will go down but as you stated there is no evidence of that.

Do you think I'm comparing Jayson Tatum and Allen Iverson?

Seeing he mentioned Steve Nash I assumed it is Nash vs. Lonzo. Nash is a 42.8 % 3pt shooter and LO 45% FT last season.

I wanted to point out that players develop at different rates and that their career trajectories can change over time, but the poster who doesn't seem to think much of Lonzo after one season thought I was making a literal comparison between AI and Tatum.

And a good screener. Just not aggressive when he has the ball

Maybe we can term Lonzo as passive-agressive

It’s why he’s the perfect fit with LeBron.

You know you are right.

Kawhi Leonard

D’Angelo Russell

To be honest his playing style would probably be cool with Lebron. It's just like where is his mind at? I was for drafting Dlo. But I see why the team chose him to part with ways first out of our top prospects.

He’s an extremely smart defender. Knows how to play the angles extremely well and takes advantage of his height.

Lonzo looked a lot more like himself tonight and shot the ball a lot better tonight.

I guess he's going to be starting again now.

Loving the hyperactivity in the second half along with the shooting overall.
