I feel he needs to play more aggressively. But it's understand in that he is just getting his stamina and confidence back after an off-season knee surgery.

But, his shooting so far has been solid: 46% FG%, 42% 3pt% (on 6.3 attempts per nite), and 75% ft%

Played well today. Had another great shooting tonight, including from 3. Still only 3 games but it's a good sign going forward

Don’t understand how Zo doesn’t have as much confidence as Kuzma or Hart.

Hart became a starter in college in his 3rd season. Kuzma in his second season. Faced and overcame adversaries to reach this stage. I doubt they had the same confidence at ZO's age. Anyways, ZO is also progressing well.

Shooting is not the problem, and never has been. confidence is the problem. Needs to approach game with the swagger he has when rapping.

What are you guys defining confidence as?
Being able to shoot the ball every time you touch it?

Shooting is well and good, but I need Zo 100% (health and wind) so he can start putting up those all stat category games. More rebounds, more assists, more steals and more blocks my man. Along w/ the 3 ball.

Agreed, Zo was solid for the most part.

So you're saying he's not going to shoot 45% ft's, has a respectable shooting % inside and out, shouldn't be traded to the Knicks, and isn't a bust?

I thought he played well tonight. But he passed an open three and also turned the ball over driving in when he an open shot. NBA TV commentators said the same. And they were supportive of ZO otherwise throughout the game. Said ZO should start over Rondo etc. Glad he took his last three without hesitating.

B grade. I like his game but he still pisses me off when he plays scared. Too many passed up opportunities at the rim and three.

Way too many.

I remember so called experts were saying lonzo would not get affected by the noise since he was used to lavar. They were always wrong. He's still a kid.

Much better game though. I'd rather him start because he benefits from it

He passed up one three and two layups. Not the end of the world.

Yup, he was 3-7 tonight, 42%. Easily the team leader.

Love his game in general. Gotta attack the basket more and actually finish around the basket, heck he needs to try to finish around the basket. His shot is falling otherwise so s'all good, man.

If he can give us 14-7-7 and good defense
He's right where we need him to be

Defense. Probably already one of the best PG defenders in the NBA. Just like he was last season.

He had two saves - a Lebron baseline pass and Hart's OT pass while falling out of bounds - that led to six points and were so quietly key.

The give n go to LeBron (while falling out of bounds after recovering Hart's save) was just an awesome heads up play that only guys like Lonzo will make. Just love this kid's instincts.

I hope he got a home court assist for that. The kid has winning DNA. So do Hart, Kuz, and BI. That's a great sign long-term.

Man, I don't get how you say he needs to be more aggressive

By the time he entered the game in the 4th, the game already devolved into Cavs lebron + a bunch of shooters in the half court which was honestly fine since our dudes were knocking those shots down. Like lonzo in the george hill role, Hart in the korver role, kuz as love, jwill as tt

I also 100% think he would have been blocked if he took that one shot at the rim. The weakside dude was closing in fast

It's so odd to not have the usual suspects in this thread.
Keep it up Zo!
