Thought tonight's game meant it would be safe to come in here. I guess it's still not for some.

Lonzo was good tonight. Had some ehhh plays, but what the hell you are going to have that with a young player.

All in all, a good game.

People will harp on that backwards pass turnover but when he plays with that level of passion, I’m good with it especially since being engaged has been an issue for him.

10-7-4 with 3 steals and 2 blocks with the highest +/- at +12... Not a great game, but a decent one. I'll take it.

I missed the first half so I missed stuff like that embarrassing layup miss. I thought he was great, as mentioned in the game thread. He set great screens for LeBron, hit a 3, got some easy dunks on the break, had some really nice passes with LeBron resting (not sure we capitalized on them), was extremely active on the offensive boards, and was excellent on defense.

Another game bailed out by Lebron. Good experimenting game to see if Lonzo's defense could make up for his lack of offense down the stretch. I don't think it's enough. We will not beat the Warriors like this. We cannot allow other team to double up Lebron without making them pay. Eventually, teams will start hard doubling Lebron forcing Lonzo to make that outside jumpshot, then we're screed. We're so close to being great. If only Lonzo could shoot 40% from three like he did in college.

He's a key role player for us at this point. Always good to have.

I thought his defense on Miami's final possessions was great. A nice block and chasing Richardson off the tree pt line.

with that draymond-esque statline, this kid makes winning plays, specially on the defensive side.

I mean, ok, so far he hasnt been the type of point guard virtuoso people saw at ucla and expected at the lakers but gis defense is wayyyy waaaayyy better than it was expected. so, it kinda makes up for the other holes in his game

His +18 is actually because he was on the floor with Lebron the whole time. It's somewhat misleading here.

I agree. And it's pretty amazing how impactful an above average game from him can be. But people come here to mock just 'cos he's not having those 20 point chucking games.

Not the whole time, but yeah close enough. There were at least 7 or 8 minutes in the game where one was in and the other was out.

Decent game from Ball and yes, he is only a role player right now.

Everyone except LeBron is then. Don't have the consistent 2nd guy yet.

He also had to play with Lance who was -8. Might surprise some people, but getting rebounds, steals and blocks(defense in short) can have positive effect on +/- too.

Uhm. Yes.
We are Lebron and young role players (minus the current kuzma play which is leaning him out of that label). But is that such a bad thing in year 2?

Plus/mijus is always misleading.

I dont care if Zo blows layups if he has an overall game like tonight.

It’s when he blows layups and it gets into his head I have issues with.
