The fact that I am not even trolling is even more telling. I watch Fox and Doncic and these other PG's and they continue to impress. We watch Lonzo and we hope to god that his shot isnt a complete brick because otherwise we are just watching him play D all game long... which is fine for someone who isn't a 2nd overall pick.

Just pretend and replace 2nd "pick" with 2nd "round". Will make you feel much better.

Try it! It does me.

Hmmm that might actually work. Then I'll have a lot of hope for him because he's a 2nd rounder who fell to us by luck. Wow I do feel better already.

Glad I could be of service.

I refuse to watch Jazz and Kings games because I don't want to see who we could have drafted.

(bleep) that.

Perfect logic.
Rondo is out. BI is out. So why not go for the trifecta and get rid of Lonzo.

I’m thinking long term. Ingram and ball for kemba is my dream. With the kcp for ariza deal.

The rest of you can argue Ball’s intangibles as he shoots 30 percent from the floor and airballs layups.

You can find good defenders in the second round or the G League. For a 2nd pick, you need more production.

you know for a fact Magic didnt draft him for his defensive prowess... so he’s been basically absent on the offense lately

At least for DLO a former 2nd overall pick we got Kuz out of it....

We let Randle walk, couldn't we have signed him for 1 year on a "show me' contract? All he is doing is 27PPG and 12.5 boards per 36 in NO.

Now with BI having trouble getting in sync with BRON and our other 2nd overall pick Ball what should we do? 3 2nd overall picks and a 7th pick and where are we? Without the Bron signing it would be total chaos.

AD for Ball, BI, and KCP? Are the Pelicans dimwitted enough?

Don't compare Lonzo to BI.

Ingram is averaging 15 playing in a system that is not catering to his needs. He's making the most out of it.... wtf is Lonzo doing? At least when BI shoots, you actually believe it may go in. He's also a solid defender too. I don't know why people love grouping BI with Zo.

7 points 8 assists in 35 minutes. On 3/9 shooting and 0-6 3 point shooting isn’t fine. It’s terrible.

This guy isn’t very good. But fans have resorted to hyping his non box score intangibles to compensate for his non existent offense.

I am not comparing the two, just that they are both not where you want them to be. Perhaps we can get some real value from them now before there stock goes lower?

With BI I still have some decent hopes, but "If" there is any chance at all for AD, the Pelicans may feel he is going to bolt, the lakers can steal him? Long long shot I know, but stranger things have happened...

Ingram may not be at the level that people hoped but he's a starter. At the very least, he's an average starter. If he never becomes a star, he'll be solid for the rest of his career. I honestly can't say that about Zo.

Watching Lonzo not be able to hit a jumper to save his life, or make layups consistently makes me amazed that as recently as several weeks ago there were people on this board who were convinced he was a future superstar.

I really like his defense, but he has not improved on anything since last season.

Lonzo being a nonfactor on offense negates his defensive contributions. He puts no pressure on opposing defenses, which lets them preserve their energy for the other end.

Dude just isn't a scorer and has no reliable way to score points, unless he gets hot from 3 but even then he is way below average. He is below average everywhere on the court percentage wise.

Lonzo is a bad fit with Lebron. His strengths aren't being used enough.
