This is how our season has gone. As soon as someone starts to get a groove we get (bleep) by an injury. This is going to be a huge set back for him this season. |

Greatness is counter-balanced by consistency. One cannot exist without the other. |

Lonzo going down made me super depressed. Knew we would lose the game after that happened; Zo was controlling the pace in a LeBron-esque fashion.
Anyways happy to see Lonzo is starting to flourish, as I always knew he would. One silver lining of this injury is that it’ll keep him out of trade talks and prevent us from losing a promising young player for something “sure.” Also might give him time to study tape and re-work his shot. |

With our staff they’ll call him day to day and he’ll miss a month. |

Are you talking about these people? https://www.nba.com/lakers/training-staff
The medical and training staff aren’t the same as the PR/Information staff. When you get information about Laker injuries, it’s from the latter, and they are protecting the business side of the organization. |

We've played 47 games.
Of those 47 games we've played 24 without at least 2 of the following players.
Rondo
LeBron
BI
Add on the games McGee missed with pneumonia and Beasy missed with his Mom since they have coincided for the most part and you see a very depleted team.
Then factor in that we lost Kuz for 3 crucial games with Bron and Rondo already out...and now we're going to be without Zo for at least a couple of weeks...
It's kind of a miracle that this team is above .500 and I think actually reflects well on the kids and what Luke is doing even though the SA OT game, the Orlando at home game, the Sac on the Road, the NY, the 1st OKC, and the Cleveland games really sucked. Add on last night and even with the injuries it's not absurd to think we gave 7 games away this year.
We're 25-22 and could easily be 32-15.
Refs Suck.
Injuries Suck.
And Most of All Losing Sucks.
But I can say that I am really proud of this team and how Luke is doing his job. The future is bright and I don't think anyone of us thought this was the year...but I still want playoffs and to get their we gotta get the squad healthy...Dec & Jan have been brutal. _________________ "If You're Afraid To Fail...Then You're Probably Going To Fail."

does ball and rondo have a deal with the devil that they'll only play when one is out with an injury? Can't freakin' get the whole team healthy together. This blows. |

That feels like a death blow to our season. At some point, changes to the medical staff needs to happen. I don’t see any other teams going thru what we have gone thru for the past few of seasons. |

Silver lining I guess. When he was carried out was worried it was worst but could tell it was bad. Fortunately Rondo is back very soon. Assuming Caruso is coming up from the G-League in the short term any other options? Any minor trades out there to get a backup PG? |

Grade 3 is bad. I’d be shocked if he was back within 2 months. |

Ya he’s not coming back until April imo. He needs to work on his lower body strength this offseason |

Not much they can do about Lonzo landing on someone’s foot and rolling his ankle. |

Dude isn’t coming back until March, he and the medical staff take their time during his injuries and his confidence will be gone.
