Tough break for Lonzo.
But there is a silver lining in that he can practice his shooting.
Especially FT.
If he can shoot he will be dangerous.

Not much they can do about Lonzo landing on someone’s foot and rolling his ankle.

he didn't land on anyone. rolled his own ankle. reggie jackson did the same last year and missed 2 months

Good thing is that Lebron should be back soon which makes up for a lot.

Feel like Lonzo turned a corner recently. Was basically controlling the game. This sucks. I remember Bynum balling out in Memphis and Kobe falling back on his knee. Very similar -bad timing injuries with players coming into their own.

Yeah that’s really bad. I think he will miss closer to 8-10 weeks

Any interest in Michael Carter Williams? Wasn't he waived by Chicago. Not ideal in that he can't shoot, but he would provide some play making in a limited capacity.

It was hard to tell, I thought the defender got his toes under lonzo’s ball ball of the foot area. There wasnt a clear angle that I saw.

Team is gonna be borderline unwatchable without him. Rondo and Bron need to come back asap.

This is pretty much the worse news possible. Lonzo has been opening up our offense with his ability to hit 3's and get to the rack. Rondo has neither of those abilities. If Lebron doesn't come back by end of month, it could be game over for our playoff hopes.

I don’t see any jinx here tbh. Until he proves otherwise, he is injury prone.

I wish we could find a way to trade for Mike Conley, that would put less damper on this injury news, none of this Caruso crap or Jeremy Lin who isn’t a starter material, only someone like Conley can help us float in the WC playoff race.

He's out 2 months minimum. Complete tear of the ligament. it will take 4-6 weeks for that thing to heal and then another 2 weeks minimum to get his conditioning/confidence back.

Here is a slow-mo, poor quality though. It looks like the defender gets his foot under Lonzo's:

In what universe is that not a foul?

But Harden gets 2 FTs before tipoff...

Get well kid...see you after the AS break we hope.

Blame Ennis for Lonzo's injury, not the medical staff.

Dude no way, Mike Conley is on one of the worst contracts in NBA history. He's not even that good anymore. Jeremy Lin would be way better as a one year backup to Rondo. We need to preserve cap space.
