I hope some mob backed gambler who bet on Lonzo having a big season hires goons to break Hardens leg.

The PR team has made protecting the business side job one. Underreporting or distracting from expected player absence falls into that.

Blame Ennis for Lonzo's injury, not the medical staff.

This is like blaming a company’s prolong bad performance on a bad recent delivery. This is only happening to the Lakers for the last 7-8 years. You have to ask the question do we have the best training/medical staff money can hire? Answer is a resounding NO, these guys were retained from Gary Vitti days as reward for their loyalty. Lakers never hire training staff/medical personnel from outside as far as I remember.

Any interest in Michael Carter Williams? Wasn't he waived by Chicago. Not ideal in that he can't shoot, but he would provide some play making in a limited capacity.

big no. Jeremy Lin would do

If we’re looking for someone to accompany Zo on the IR, Lin is your man.

Bron gonna have to come back and go god-mode to keep us in the playoff hunt.

7 of 9 are on the road in Feb...all but 3 of our upcoming games are against PO teams.

Only team to ever have 3 guys capable of averaging 10 assists...only team to have all 3 injured. Is it just me or does it feel like every year we lose more players to injury than most teams?

Kobe
Bynum
Kobe
Jules
Zo
Bron
Rondo
BI
Rondo
Zo

Losing sucks...losing because your top guys are on the shelf is demoralizing.

Tough break for Lonzo.
But there is a silver lining in that he can practice his shooting.
Especially FT.
If he can shoot he will be dangerous.

Rondo’s getting back , just in time.

LeBron and Rondo are coming back soon and you think this is a death blow? I don't know why people are blaming the medical staff. jfc.

LeBron when he comes back should play the point guard, and Rondo should remain the bench point guard.

Starters:
LeBron James
KCP
Brandon Ingram
Kyle Kuzma
Ivica Zubac

Bench:
Rajon Rondo
Josh Hart
Svi / Lance Stephenson
Michael Beasley
JaVale McGee / Tyson Chandler

I'd say that should be our 12 man rotation while Zo is out.

So he's injury prone right guys? Right? Right? Right? Can't stay healthy for a season early in his career. Huh? Double standard around here? FACTS? YOU BETCHA. Mmk.

Tough loss. Hope the kid gets back early. He was really playing some good ball before the setback.

Agree, I don’t think we see him until March. Man, he had really turned a corner and was playing the best we have seen from him.

how it works out.

Double standard? A lot of us were worried about Zo’s durability after the injury riddled rookie year.

and did you apply that same, sound logic to the early career of injury prone Steph Curry?

I highly highly doubt the Lakers are gonna depend on Caruso, last season was different because we were in a transition period, the FO still wants to make noise this year, but either way this news is devastating, get well soon Ball!

Unbelievable. Since Kobe achilles injury the Lakers can't catch a break.
Is the same (bleep) season after season.

I have no idea as to the efficacy of the medical staff but it does seem like we would only hear about perceived failures on their part and not all the success they have. Hard to make a judgement with only partial information.

Young people don't really have the body to withstand the rigors of NBA basketball. Especially since Lonzo didn't have a pre-season.
