Additionally to all noted things, Ball is a way better rebounder.
They have not as much in common then any could think.
Rubio is better in half court situations and Ball is a lot better in the open court/fastbreak situations.

As Laker fans we need to do better. We have a bad habit of living in fantasy land and not being able to accept reality.
The reality is, Lonzo right now is a bigger Ricky Rubio. Obviously he's still young, so we will hope for the best. We will hope that he can eventually become a bigger Kidd. |
Rubio can hit free throws, layups and make mid-range jumpers, Lonzo can’t do any of those things. |

AD gets injured and Zion makes the All-Star team as a rookie while Lonzo earns MIP and an All-Defense Team nod.

If we trade everyone to the Pels, I would consider rooting for them until we got new ownership. Only exception, we get Kawhi as well but that still won't age well with all the injury issues for LBJ, AD, and Kawhi.
We absolutely have to keep one of BI or Zo. |
