Got this off GT’s twitter. Man talk about major butthurt
I haven’t even really thought about the sixers at all after the draft. This guy is more obsessed with lakers training camp than the team he covers

Who is that dude? Someone important?
I saw him on my Lakers timeline, and just thought he was some moron.
He doesn't seem to make any educated arguments, just getting in a twitter war with people. |
He works for philly’s sports radio station. Looked him up and saw he is Howard Eskin’s son which explains a lot |

Just like Laker fans have posted videos from the 76er camp. Obsession goes both ways. _________________ RIP mom. 11-21-1933 to 6-14-2023. |

It’s practice, sure … but another 3-0 night for Lonzo Ball, this time w/KCP, Ingram, Nance, Jr. and Randle. Lonzo is 6-0 in scrimmages. |

Color me skeptical that he isn't already the leader of the team, and possibly its best player. |
Lonzo is already approach GOAT status

I am a believer.
Was a skeptic going into the draft.
SPL changed me.
I think he will be the #1 reason why 2 stars join us in 2018. _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals |

Glad to hear everyone is officially off the Fultz bandwagon and on the Lonzo Train. ITs deep!

That's basically our starting lineup minus Lopez. We'd have some major problems if they lost. |

Is this true? Could it be?
No one ranting and raving about Fultz or Fox?
Rejoice! |

I had an inkling after watching him transform UCLA's squad but understood the rather sizable question marks surrounding certain flaws or underdeveloped portions of his game. But he had some very unteachable qualities that made me put my money on him rather than Fultz. _________________ We back. |

I still have a little concern over how he handles the half court defenses, not his shot but more of how he attacks and creates. NBA teams will find ways and he will have to adjust.
Not too big of a concern though because one thing I have been sold on since summer league is just how high of a basketball iq he has at top speed. It’s amazing what he sees. So yeah, it’s looking like we might have THAT guy on our hands.
Edit: Randle says lonzo’s court vision is “second to none.” |

Maybe, Lonzo Ball isn't just a generational talent, but a son of Zeus |

Caruso's game must be rubbing off on Lonzo. Put the power of the stache into the sideburns! |

Training camp only adds fuel to the Lonzo Ball hype train
- Quote: | Lonzo Ball's first week of training camp started with Magic Johnson doubling down on his prized point guard and predicting Showtime Magic-and-Worthy-like fast breaks for Ball and Brandon Ingram.
And before he even gets to dribble the ball in his first official game as a professional, Ball deftly handled every question that came his way like a 10-year vet, whether it was what he eats for breakfast (waffles and sunny-side-up eggs), what shoes he will wear this season (Big Baller Brand at the start, for now) or how often he talks with his father during camp. |

At first I thought the comments about the Lakers not being ready is from pure objectivity, but now I think the reason why people are afraid to admit about the Lakers is because of fear. They don't want us winning titles, the NBA especially the haters want Lonzo to be another Kwame.
But now I know why people are trying hard not to admit about our chance to be good.
The haters are very scared that Lonzo will be another LeBron or Magic. |

if Lonzo leads us to 50 victories this year, we might as well hang his jersey in the rafters while he's still playing, what's the point of waiting? |

Worthy recently talked to Luke about 10-15 games the Lakers let get away last year. Winning every close (or not) practice game, whether teammates are Corey Brewer & Thomas Bryant, or starters, shows me this guy really is a difference maker, even at this level. Imo, last year's team would have won far more with him and when the season begins, people looking for 33-35 wins will soon be recalculating.
He's not Magic, Jordan, Kidd, or LeBron but I strongly suspect he's going to be the biggest ROOKIE SEASON pg difference maker since Johnson. Ervin had highly ranked veteran stars. Not sure what he'd do with this squad. As I think of it, that's an interesting thought....Rookie Magic vs Rookie Lonzo. No doubt there's going to be plenty of comparisons.
Let the flames begin. |

What if the team has another scrimmage and Ball ends up going 9-0 will the league be scared? |
