No, because if 3 was on the same team as 1 he wouldn't be on the list. 3 gets a chance to be a chucker on a team that will let him take a shot a minute.
Trust me there won be any chucking going on on number 3's new team. He's in an offense with actual ball movement now.
That and if Number 3 and Number 1 were teammates, Number 1 would be feeding him wide open shot opportunities all day and vice versa, so there's that too.
One silver lining: This speaks to how well the college scouting group for the Lakers has done its job in recent years. But a Ball/DLO backcourt with Kuzma on the wing? Daaaaammmm... Still, I do like both Lopez and Hart, pulling hard for them both to succeed. If 2 max fails Lopez alone could be decent compensation. If Hart pans out like I think he will we'll be fine.
First time I can remember where I actually wish here were a couple more preseason games left. I would have loved for Lonzo to get some more reps in with the guys in games that don't count.
Looked good on those, out shot Kuzma by 1. I know it is just for fun with those two, bragging rights, but I kind of want to see how Lonzo does with someone defending him on those
Lonzo's release point is around his forehead, while Kuzma lets go the ball is well above his head. Gotta say in game situations, Kuzma's will be blocked far less often and needs less separation to get off.
He was winded as hell today during the scrimmage. I heard him say "I just need a minute" while huffing and puffing on the sideline.
Expected. He's probably gonna play what, 25 minutes?
I have a hard time believing they're going to be able to limit him to 25. I'd be surprised if he's under 30. They said they didn't want to kill him during summer league and he played 53 minutes a game.
