Ever since they said the words “shot doctor” Lonzo has been drilling 3s.

“My boy don’t need no shot doctor”

Lonzo's shooting continues to trend in the right direction.

I feel like he's tweaking something on his lower body every night though.

I wonder if this is a hot shooting streak for his standards or if his shot is returning to what is was pre-NBA

Dude had looking increasingly good as of late, hitting more shots...getting guys good looks and rebounding. I’m a fan.

The frequency of touchdown passes seems to be increasing, too.

Another solid performance. He was engaged and energetic on both ends. He is finally showing some consistency, and his body English is a lot more comfortable. This road trip may have been the real beginning of his NBA career.

Lonzo is really solid on the road, shooting with FG 39.8% 3PT 36.3%.

At staples center, he's just shooting with FG 27.2% 3PT 16.7%, that's a big problem.

He should have gotten more assists but our players just keep missing little chippies.

I was going to post something about it seems like his shooting is better on the road. Now skip is going to think he’s a genius for saying Lonzo just doesn’t look comfortable shooting at Staples.

After his games on this road trip, think we finally put the "Lonzo doesn't play well in highly anticipated games" narrative to bed?

45% FG and 35% 3P in this road trip(4 games). Nice improvement.

3 of past 4 games Lonzo:

Minimum: 10 points, 6 assists and 8 rebounds, 45% shooting.

That's pretty damn good for a rookie.

Here's to hoping he is slowly starting to figure this NBA thing out. He has *not* had three consecutive scoring games where he has had 10+ points or shot 45% or more...yet. Really hoping he can keep up this momentum.

While he clearly has suspect mechanics, it is my firm belief that he is very much a rhythm and confidence player, and once he establishes his comfort at this level (this is the first time he hasn't simply outclassed his competition), the shooting numbers will normalize

What I like most about him as a prospect coming out UCLA was how much of an outlier he was. He is so good at all the difficult stuff but not really good at the easy things. That’s good because the easy things can be taught and learned. The league is in trouble once he figures it out. The kid has greatness written all over him.

At this point...to those of us who were skeptical earlier. Nobody can deny that he is literally good at everything that is needed on the court, with that obvious exception.

When it is put like that, it makes it easy to appreciate how rare he is and how rare he might be in the future.
Well, rare-ish because Simmons is the same.
