Agreed. Much like BI last year, Zo looks like a different player when he's aggressive and confident. Hopefully his confidence keeps building off this trip.

45% FG and 35% 3P in this road trip(4 games). Nice improvement.

Not to mention he is averaging 11.3 points, 8.5 assists, 7.3 rebounds, 1.5 blocks, and 1.8 steals during that stretch.

He's going to average triple double in a season in the future.

This kid could be scary good someday. I'll just enjoy the ups and downs until then.

What's encouraging is he's consistent in the areas that we refer to as the "little things"..

I think we've got an athletic Steve Nash in the making..

It was a test to see if Lonzo would snitch. 😂 Zo's answer was perfect.

Lonzo has a 50.7 TS% over the last 7 games. He may finally have gotten past his shooting slump. He was historically efficient in college. If he can stay around 50% TS% for the rest of the year, he's going to have a very, very good rookie season.m

He has a neutral BPM too.

LeBron said a lot of things to him after the game.

So Lonzo has a 0 bpm. He's slowly inching toward the player we though he could be. Make no mistake, for a rookie that's a win.

When ever i see "the kid" referencing an NBA player in their 20's, i always picture a teenager or college student sitting in their basement or dorm.

How many of you are really old enough to be acting like a grown man's dad?

If I had been more adventurous in high school, Lonzo could have been my son. I knew I should have thrown caution to the wind.

While he clearly has suspect mechanics, it is my firm belief that he is very much a rhythm and confidence player, and once he establishes his comfort at this level (this is the first time he hasn't simply outclassed his competition), the shooting numbers will normalize

I see this phrase referenced a lot but really, doesn't it apply to anyone? Has there ever been a great or even good player that lacked confidence?

The Cavs announcers were mentioning it ad nauseam but I think I agree: Lonzo can be effective as a catch-and-shoot player with his weird form but he won't ever be effective as an off-the-dribble shooter.

His step back jumper is his best shot. It’s off the dribble.

I'm in my mid 40s so yeah, I'm old enough.

You're watching one of the greatest ever Lebron James. Everyone suffers from pressure/lack of confidence at times. Not everyone is full sociopath like Kobe lol.

I've found that most announcers/tv commentators are disgustingly annoying but I concur.

And for the way he plays, that's totally fine. He's either attacking the basket, passing, or in the catch and shoot.

Good to know, when I see you say that "whippasnappa" needs to shoot better I'll picture like my grampa lol.

I am.

In fact, in your more sexually active families, I could be his grandpa!

Who is a better defender right now at the PG position in the NBA?

I await your answers.

Lonzo Ball aka The Savior is for real and will be converting the disbelievers.
