Maybe his bench press can go up to 500 pounds like it did with his dad.

Quote:
Ball said that James was “too weak” to beat him

Quote:

"Back in my heyday can’t nobody hold me, 270 benching 500,” Ball said in an interview with Fanatics View.

Ball was then asked if he had some visual evidence of said bench pressing feats.

"Don’t need no videos, it’s all up here,” Ball said. “You want to come see me back in my heyday? I was a bad mamajama. I’m going to let you know. My will to win was too hard man. Man, 1-on-1 I’d be on myself all day.”

Is this dude really worth quoting? He said Lonzo is better than Steph Curry. He said he is better 1-on-1 than Michael Jordan. Said LiAngelo is a 1-and-done NBA player. Said if you paid $500 for shoes you will have them delivered by november. At this point, whatever LaVar says is about as from from the truth as you can get.

I never take him seriously and he is obviously just trolling. I actually liked him more after the video when he said Lebron was too weak to beat him.

I was laughing at your list of ridiculous comments. This is not even an attempt to put him down; I think LaVar could be a great comedian.

Lavar's antics have gotten old he has little impact anymore most people don't take him seriously kind of sad in a weird sort of way

And despite all the ridiculous WWE type antics he still has received his 15 mins of fame/notoriety he so desperately desires.

Still gets quoted, booked and sought after by the media. Have no clue how his BBB business or Junior bball league are actually doing financially. But I will take a guess he is making money with both.

Odd world we live in.

Just as a side note, LaMelo is going to have so many bad habits to fix because of LaVar's stupid antics, but he has legit NBA starter upside.

500 pound bench press isn’t really unbelievable for a man his size.

My max was 405 as a teenager and I wasn’t an other worldly Athelete or anything. I know other linemen I played with that could do around 450+

The world record is twice that if I remember correctly.

Our concern should be Zo having recurring injury, in which
case, he could become someone you bring off the bench.

If healthy, he’ll need to work on changing his crappy shot
and then making them. His passing and D are fine.

From the moment he elected him I’ve been on the fence
with regards to him, that has not changed.

Food for thought, Lebron's rookie 3PT % was worse than Lonzos

And he jumped up to 35% in his second year. Lonzos shot is actually an exaggerated version of Lebrons shot in a lot of ways. I see a big improvement in 3 point % from Zo this year.

I agree. Too bad he did not have a full healthy summer to work on things but I still expect we will see a lot of improvement.

Not really changing per say, just making!

There where games when his shots pretty much amounted to turnovers, we can't have that this year.

I still have nightmares about that game in New Orleans.
If Zo can hit just 35% of his 3's 'selectively', attack closeouts and 70% at the ft line then he's gonna be integral to our offense, the kid has massive talent. If that doesnt come we're gonna have to go another direction

Didn’t know where to put this, but it was pretty interesting to me.

Lonzo got a C grade for offense, but what surprised me was Ben Simmons got an F.

#analytics and you need #eyetest too, but interesting and something I didn’t expect to see even if Simmons is allergic to shooting 3s.

C for offense
A for defense

Not bad for a bust

I took a look at some of the other stuff this guy is saying. Frankly, it looks like a big hot steaming bowl of excrement to me. I have an open mind about analytics and the like, but this strikes me as gibberish:

I think we should wait and read Cranjis' explanation before writing them off, which would be the very definition of an "open mind" instead of outright from the get calling it a "big hot steaming bowl of excrement." My understanding is the system takes raw data and then tries to convert it into something easily digestible for the average fan. I know I'm curious why Simmons is an F, but I have my theories. Even then, the system may have outliers and need adjustment, with Simmons being the first, maybe?
