X1000
His length, Ingram's, and the other long and or defensive minded players used give the Warriors fits. Curry had a terrible season against the Lakers iirc...although Zo didn't play in the end. Trading that advantage away is going to come back to bite the team next year, even if you get a good big guy in return. |

2017-2018, want to know who was #7 in assists/game? Draymond.
Want to know who was #8? Lonzo...as a ROOKIE.
Lonzo's defensive potential, glue mentality and ability to play a LOT of positions on both ends matches Draymond's skillset and impact on GSW.
If we trade him, there are a lot of teams hoping to get him for that reason. |
WTF?
Draymond is playing like he's Magic Johnson on offense and Ben Wallace on defense. He's literally Magic Wallace these playoffs.
Stop these ridiculous comparisons. |

Trading Ball would be more catastrophic than the DLO trade. Ball is a potential Hall of Famer. |

Lonzo Ball transcends the concept of winning basketball games. I pay money to bask in his aura. He doesn’t even need to dribble, just stand on the Laker logo in the middle of the court, and radiate excellence, young man; like a statue. _________________ DEAR BASKETBALL |

It's not ridiculous, but it is very premature because we have no idea how Lonzo would do in the playoffs yet.
Draymond is averaging 13 PPG and shooting 21% from 3 and 66% from the line in the playoffs. Yes, he's been fantastic, and with the eye test, his defense has been otherworldly. But certainly Lonzo can hit those numbers, and if he continues to improve his defense, he can really impact the game significantly.
If we trade him, there are a lot of teams hoping to get him for that reason. |

I for one have been saying Lonzo could be the equivalent of what Draymond is to GS since we drafted him.
And maybe he hasn't shown it yet, but maybe that is what gamecock is seeing as his potential- which it totally valid and IMO not out of the real of possibility.
If you want to speak in hyperbole and compare Green to the goat PG and a perennial DPOY, that's your call but it's a gross exaggeration. |

I'm saying more ridiculous than me calling Green, Magic Wallace (although he was that in the WCF), is folks calling Zo, Dray-like...
Zo has yet to establish himself as a long term starting PG in this league! Let the man start there!
Right now Zo is more Ricky Rubio (although Ricky shoots it better) than Dray! And no one would remotely suggest that Ricky is Dray-like. |

Any word on how Zo is feeling. Is he working on his game? Hopefully he is getting in shape and working on some of the little things. |

Well, we have Kidd now so Ball should make a big leap with Kidd's help. I hope he's working on his jumper and not his rap. _________________ LeGoat! LeMazing! LeGend! |

I'm curious as to what Kidd will tell him to make the light come on that he hasn't already heard from Magic, Lebron and Rondo. _________________ "Suck it up. Don't be a baby. Do your job." - Kobe Bryant |

I don't think it is anything specifically. It will be more of a situation where Kidd is constantly on his ass in a way a GM or teammate can't be. He comes out, Kidd says "what happened on that play?". They are watching film, he says "Zo that can't happen" etc etc |

Kidd can join Zo in New Orleans this July, after the trade. Alvin Gentry is actually a good coach, but he's typically blown out in Year 5, and, guess what? It's Year 5. _________________ On Lakersground, a concern troll is someone who is a fan of another team, but pretends to be a Lakers fan with "concerns". |

Lonzo and Ingram are the futures of this franchise, and have the highest ceilings out of all our players by a good amount.
But then again, even if the Lakers currently have favorites, most or all of them could be gone for a star real fast so none of them are currently the future _________________ “Life is too short. You have to keep it moving.” - Kobe |

I’d take #7, Dunn and a 2nd. Then it would make sense to draft a scoring PG (Garland, White). _________________ We only celebrate championships.

Why Dunn? Seriously that's like saying roster space and 6m on garbage |
